If you want your senpai to notice you, you're probably a good candidate to come by the first unofficial/official meeting of the HMS Anime club. Stop by the library today (Monday) after school to talk about what we want the club to be. We'll be done by 3:15pm.

Attention HMS Cheerleaders: Meet Ms. DiPietro in front of room 289 at 3:00 for practice today. Please make sure you have all of your things that you need to take home with you and bring your water bottle.

Girls Volleyball Club will meet ONLY tomorrow (Tuesday) this week in Gym A/B. Again, Girls Volleyball Club will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) in Gym A/B. Please see Ms. Rube in room 203 with any questions or concerns.

Attention 6th graders interested in applying for yearbook club. Please bring your permission slip to room 186 at 2:45 tomorrow (Tuesday) for a brief meeting. This meeting is for interested SIXTH GRADERS only!

Reading Olympics is back! Come by the library after school on Thursday, October 22nd. We're going to book it up.

Interested in being a part of the morning news broadcast, Ford Focus? Come to a brief informational meeting on Thursday, immediately after school in the library lab. You must bring a signed application and permission slip to attend. Stop in the technology office for an application, or look online under Activities/Clubs.

French club is starting Thursday, October 22. Be sure to get your permission slip on the web site or see Mrs. Alls or Mrs. Cox for a copy.

Are you into rock 'n' roll? Hip-Hop? German techno? What about Algerian Rai Punk? Then Kick Out the Jams is for you. A club where we listen and talk about great music. See Dr. Finn in room 36 for a permission form. Our first listening session is November 5 at 2:45.

6th grade math club will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays in the library after school until 3:20. All 6th grade students are welcome to come by with questions and to work on their math homework. See your math teacher if you need a club flyer.

Attention all 6th Grade Floor Hockey participants; Outside of Mr. Crater's room (room 226), you can find your team, team color, and schedule. If you have any questions about your team and schedule, ask Mr. Crater or visit his website. Games start tomorrow! Remember to wear your team color to your game. Let the games begin!

Friday's Quiz Bowl action was a battle for the ages. Wins for the Bunny Burgade and Epic Sausage Fiesta Supreme put them on the top of the leader board tied for first place with a 2-0 record. Team 10 was a no show - where are those three kids named Jack and the random fourth kid named Sam? You missed your game! Also, an orange Kindle was left behind. Mr. Langin has it and will return it (for a price). Check the standings and schedule for the next round of games.

Congratulations to the HMS cross country team on two great races Friday. The girls' team remains undefeated this season after winning Friday's meet. Top finishers for HMS were Lauren McAdams, Karen Buchannan, and Ava McAanally. The boys team finished third and were lead by Josh Fingerhut, Drew Gillespie, Ethan Fingerhut, and Stephen Lozano. All of the runners worked hard and displayed great H-Pride!

The 7th grade volleyball team played quite the nail biting match against TE on Friday afternoon. The second game went to 30 points! The lady fords were able to close out the game with a win! Congrats to all.

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Field Hockey Team for Defeating the Bulldogs of T. E. 3-0 Friday afternoon on the Main Stadium turf. HMS goals were scored by Mia Ciancio, Olivia Boyce, and Maya LeBlanc. Outstanding defensive play recognition goes to midfielder Abby Wright. The win was a total team effort. Great job 8th grade field hockey!

On Friday, the 7th Grade Field Hockey team never stopped trying, but still lost to Tredyffrin-Easttown by a score of 5 to 0. Today we play out back on the turf field at 3:30 against Strath Haven. Come on out and cheer for your classmates.

The 8th grade boys' soccer team beat T.E. on Friday 9 to 2. Declan Sminkey had the hat trick, Jerry "Jer-Bear" O'Brien scored twice, and Evan Carfrey, Aidan Tripler, Daymond Purdey and Adam Stuck each scored once. Our next game is today at ET Richardson.

The 7th grade girls' soccer team continued their undefeated streak by winning 4-0 Friday against T.E. Middle School. Rachel Yocom continued her scoring streak and Lola K and Jessica M brought in the other goals. Shout out to Nicole R and Annika W for their strong defensive plays!
