2015 Annual General Meeting

THE PROGRAM
9:30 to 11am – TOUR of “Toronto’s Downton Abbey,” Spadina Historic House and Gardens. [Please arrive at 9:15 so you can remove your coat and pay the $12 tour fee in time for the 9:30 tour start.]
11:15am to noon – Short AGM BUSINESS MEETING, including briefings on great upcoming programs and introducing a CHC blog, and BIENNIAL ELECTION.
The executive offices of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer are fully open. The four incumbents are not standing for these positions.

All members in good standing will be able to vote on motions and in the election. You are entitled to vote by proxy**.
All members are encouraged to self-nominate for an executive position or to offer to serve as a committee chair. We also encourage expressions of interest in committee membership
Members in Good Standing: The membership renewal form is attached for your convenience, but membership and renewal forms will also be available at the AGM. Regular membership dues are unchanged at $30 for one year and $55 for two years.

Spadina Museum Directions
Spadina is a large yellow brick house located at 285 Spadina Road, just east of Casa Loma.
If travelling by TTC:
From Dupont Station: Walk north up Spadina Road to Davenport Road; continue north up the hill via the Baldwin Steps (there are 110 of them!) Spadina will be on your right.
From St. Clair West Station: Walk east on St. Clair Avenue West to Spadina Road; walk south on Spadina Road to 285 Spadina Road.
From St. Clair Station: Take the westbound streetcar along St. Clair Avenue to Spadina Road; walk south on Spadina Road to 285 Spadina Road.
If travelling by tour bus or car:
From the north: Spadina Road is closed to southbound traffic between St. Clair and Spadina Museum for bridge repairs. At St. Clair Avenue West and Bathurst, drive south to Davenport, turn left, at Walmer Road turn left again and circle around Casa Loma on the hill to Austin Terrace
From the south: At Dupont Street and Spadina Road, drive north to Davenport Road, follow the signs; turn left on Davenport and then right onto Walmer Road to circle around Casa Loma on the hill to Austin Terrace
Paid parking is available at Casa Loma. For current rates call 416-923-1171. There is no parking on Spadina's grounds.
