Hispanic College Fund Scholarship Available for 10-11 academic year
The minimum eligibility criteria for HCF scholarship programs are:
Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident residing in the 50 states or Puerto Rico.
Must have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Must plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student from Fall 2010 - Spring 2011.
Must plan to be enrolled in a college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. Community college students are eligible to apply.
Each scholarship program has its own set of criteria. Each scholarship application site will state the full list of requirements for each program.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and Nissan North America, Inc. have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Community College Transfer Students. Applicants must transfer to a four-year institution in selected geographic locations. The award amount is $2,500 /Eligibility Requirements
- Be of Hispanic heritage
- Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident with permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
- Be currently enrolled part-time or full-time at a community college
- Must have plans to transfer and enroll full-time in a degree-seeking program at a four-year U.S. accredited institution during the 2010-2011 academic year
- Must transfer to a four-year college or university as a Sophomore or Junior class level
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Must reside or transfer to a four-year institution in one of the following locations:
- Los Angeles, CA
- Denver, CO
- Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale, FL
- San Antonio, TX
- Chicago, IL
- Nashville, TN
- Washington, D.C.
- Dallas, TX
- Atlanta, GA
- New Jersey/New York City metropolitan areas
- Be pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Public Relations,orMarketing
- Must apply for federal financial aid by completing theFree Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Scholarship Deadline: February 28
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) MUST Project aims to attract and retain underserved and underrepresented students in STEM through a progression of educational opportunities. MUST is managed by the Hispanic College Fund through a consortium that includes the United Negro College Fund Special Programs Corporation and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.
MUST selects students who aspire to become tomorrow's researchers, scientists, and innovators. Participation is highly competitive and can be renewed through a student's junior year.
Each year, the MUST Project supports 100 undergraduate students with:
- A one year competitive scholarship of up to half of tuition and fees, not to exceed $10,000.
- The opportunity to participate in a paid 10-week NASA summer internship at one of ten NASA field centers.
- The MUST Professional and Academic Support System (PASS), which provides scholars with tutoring, mentoring, and access to various professional development activities.
The 2010 - 2011 Application is Open. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2010.
