SIL 3 subsea safety solutions at OTC

HIMatrix F35 012 is one of first safety-related programmable controllers for

SIL 3 subsea applications

With offshore safety and environmental stewardship top of mind at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, May 4-7, HIMA will highlightingone of the first safety-related programmable controllers for subsea applications to meet SIL 3 standards.

The HIMatrix F35 012 is suitable for use to depths of 4,000 meters (13,123 feet) in subsea applications such as high-pressure monitoring and pressure isolation of pipelines and complies with the ISO/DIS 13628-6 standard. It uses low power, can connect with up to several hundred I/O points, is shock and vibration resistant and can be used at temperatures from -20°C (-4°F) to

60°C (140°F).

HIMA safety experts at the HIMA booth (#4817 in German Pavilion) will be on hand to discuss completed projects where the HIMatrix F35 012 controller is providing protection.
