High Range of vertical Manufacture sustains Growth of GLA-WEL Sewage Technology Unit
Sewage Technology, a business unit of GLA-WEL GmbH in Melle, a medium-sized metal-working company in Lower Saxony, is continually growing. The company’s own production facilities provide for the use of almost the full range of metal sheet working. Therefore, more complete or specialized solutions can be offered to customers in addition to – or even instead of – standard products. GLA-WEL is exhibitor at this year’s international trade fair “IFAT Entsorga (A4.331).
Melle, Mai 2012. GLA-WEL Sewage Technology makes use of almost the full range of metal working technology which is based „inhouse“. Therefore, decision-making procedures are short and many different manufacturing possibilities are provided. The high vertical range of manufacture at GLA-WEL enables the company to react quickly and on short notice to its customers’ needs and demands – an advantage that customers clearly seem to appreciate.
The standard delivery programme comprises cast iron wall-mounted penstocks, wall-mounted penstocks for wells, flap valves or knife gate valves made of stainless steel and – on request – HDPE penstocks.
Modern bending technology serves to reshape profiles and pipes of very different sizes and materials, milling centers cut profiles that are later being used in products for coastal protection, such as the
GLA-WEL-owned stop log system. The bended profiles are mostly used in sewage sludge plant technology and water treatment.
Moreover, the company manufactures containers, machine housings and grids in different shapes and sizes and, in addition, railings, stairs and parapets made of steel and stainless steel, implementation at the building sites included.
GLA-WEL GmbH offers a wide range of solutions for customers in different business fields, from cutting precise laser parts to building complex metal components or manufacturing manually and automatically driven conveyor systems.
