Mansell’s tender includes testing, commissioning, test certificates, training of staff, boxing in of services – none of which is included in T&B sub-contractor summary quotes (though this does not explicitly mean some or all of it is excluded).

Isolation of gas and water services to pupil positions is a requirement for BB88 and BB80 (Science Labs and Fume Cupboards). Isolation is also a requirement for CLEAPPS Guidance L14 which we also need to follow in line with county’s standards. Local isolation under benches for gas and water services also allows the lab to operate when an outlet leaks, as the rest of the system is still operational.

These do not appear to have been included in the T&B quotes.
