There are a total of 17 stages throughout the world map that is available for battling of monsters and obtain craftable pieces to craft strong armors

Stage 1: Relic Ruins

- General Monster types: Mainly earth; some spirit

Stage 2: Thieves Cove

Stage 3: Skeleton's Tomb

Stage 15: Haunted CItadel

Stage 16: Kingdom of Darkness

This is a special stage that consist of 10 bosses all from the previous few stages

Overall review: There has been many changes made to recent heroic mode challenges in knights and dragons. It now spans for 7 days and have different difficult levels. Stage 1-8 are classified as novice; Stage 9-13 classified as intermediate; Stage 14-17 as hardcore stages.

The first 8 stages are strongly recommended to complete them as they are really easy and they often reward players with seasonal chest keys (these keys open chest that give rare and powerful armors). The intermediate stages are fairly difficult with more rounds of monsters to fight and bosses do more damage. However, the number of seasonal chest keys given out is also significantly more and also recommended to do if time permits. The hardcore stages are really really difficult and usually should only be attempted by players who have many different shadowforged armors as without them it is nearly impossible to clear the stage without spending large amounts of gems (in-game cash that can be bought with real cash).

In general, armor choice should be based strongly on the final boss (can take up to 20-40hits too kill) of the stage as they are often the hardest and the normal general monsters do not take more than 3 hits to kill.
