Music Own Learning

In school this week, we were visited by Lee, who told us about musical instruments such as the drums and guitar. For your own learning this week, we would like you to think about musical instruments.

Here are a few things you could do:

  • Write a story from a musical instrument’s point of view.
  • Research a musician or band.
  • Redesign an existing musical instrument
  • Create your own musical instrument.
  • Perform a piece of music on an instrument you play.
  • Create an album cover – this could be an existing album or one you have made up.
  • Create your own band – this could be real (i.e. with friends) or imaginary (i.e. you could draw a band or make a model).
  • Write your own song.
  • Write a review of a band, song or musician.

Remember these are just ideas. You can do anything that inspires you.

Please also remember that we would like you to do some reading, practise your spellings and your times tables. There is also Mathletics and Bug Club for you to enjoy!

Good luck!

We look forward to seeing your ideas by Friday 17thMarch.
