Heraclitus, a Greek Philosopher, Is Quoted As Saying, Change Is the Only Constant in Life

Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher, is quoted as saying,“Change is the only constant in life.” Overtime, that saying has evolved to, “The only thing constant in life is change.”

With that being shared, there are exciting changes afoot at Natural Awakenings OKC.Life works in mysterious ways, and every once in a while something totally unexpected comes our way. Jeannette Draper approached me a few months ago with anunquestionable desire to purchaseNatural Awakenings OKC.

I welcome her with open arms, and look forward to seeing her grow within the pages and make it her own. I’ve known Jeannette for several years and trust implicitly that she’s the person the magazine needs to evolve to the next level. She is passionate about our community and helping people find their creativity and healing.

I don’t know how I could possibly ever adequately convey my deepest gratitude and sincere thankfulness for all theloyal readers and supportive advertisers in this letter.I know that this is just another chapter in my life, and that the journey ahead will be full of ups, downs and turnarounds. With that, I kindly bid you all a loving and heartwarming farewell.

With harmony and happiness, I would like to introduce you to the new publisher, Jeannette Draper.

Over the last five years, I’ve been an avidNatural Awakenings OKCreader and am always excited to learn of services available to enrich my family’s life as well as my own. I’m incredibly grateful for the relationship I’ve had with Tina these past few years. When the opportunity presented itself, the conversation about buying Natural Awakenings OKCwent together like peanut butter and jelly.

Tina laughed when I shared that I’vekept copies as my own reference guide for finding local practitioners—as well as certain editions featuring articlesI’ve found to be particularly interesting—and she replied, “You’re not the only one;many people have told me the very same thing over the years!”

As I transition into this new and exciting area of my life, I’m so thankful for Tina, who has delivered such an impactful magazine each month for the last seven years. She has been instrumental in the growth and awareness of healthy living in our area and has become very dear to my heart. I’m honored to follow in her footsteps and carry on the legacy of personal growth and healing.

As we embark on this journey together, my intention is to continue to support our incredible advertisers and readers, as you are the voice of our community.

Honoring your vision and mine. Together, let’s welcome the infinite possibilities of 2017!

Jeannette Draper,
