HHTYFC Chris Brooks Tournament 2017
Your Club is cordially invited to our Annual Tournament for 2017 which will be held on the weekend of 1st & 2nd July at JFK (John F Kennedy RC) School – Hollybush Lane, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 2PH.
This years’ tournament will be our 11th summer event and with over 200 teams taking part in the past makes it one of the most popular tournaments to be held in Herts and one of the largest in the South of England.
Our tournament is open to all teams up to and including under 15’s in the current seasons (2016/2017) age groups. We will also run a combined girls competition at U9’s/U10’s, U11’s/U12’s, U13’s/U14’s and U15’s/U16’s.
Saturday 1st July – AM U8, U13, U13/14 Girls, U15/16 Girls
PM U7, U12, U14, U9/10 Girls,
Sunday 2nd July - AM U9, U15, U10
PM U11, U11/12 Girls
Please note: The playing schedule may be subject to change were necessary dependant on team numbers and pitch availability.
· Under 7’s & 8’s will be played in competitive 5v5 groups.
· All under 7 & 8 players will receive a medal for participating in the tournament and the winning teams will receive trophies.
· U7-U8 teams will consist of a maximum of 7 players
· Under 9’s to under 15’s boys will be played in competitive 7v7 groups with semi-finals and finals for the top two teams in each group
· Our girl’s Tournament is also open to girl’s teams from Under 9’s to Under 16’s and will be the same 7v7 format as the U9 – U15 boys
· U9-U16 teams will consist of a maximum of 9 players
As well as a fantastic festival of football there will also be Refreshments – hot & cold, Barbeque & Side Stalls.
So that you are not disappointed we urge you to return your entries as soon as possible as we expect all places to be filled before the closing date.
Please fill in and return the enclosed application form to our tournament organiser. Payment can be made by Cash and Cheque. All cheques should be made payable to ‘Hemel Hempstead Town Youth FC’ and posted to the address at the bottom of the application form. If paying by cheque, please ensure you write your Club name and age group on the reverse of your cheque. Please note that no entries will be accepted without your County FA affiliation number and full payment. Applications received with an incorrect fee will be returned.
Early Bird entry £35 per team – Deadline for applications 28th April 2017.
Late entry £40 per team – Final deadline for applications 26th May 2017.
A £10 admin fee is applicable per team for teams who withdraw from the tournament after receipt of entry. A £5 admin fee is applicable if the tournament is cancelled.
