Greetings to all Students and their Families,

Welcome to the 2009 ~2010 School Year! We are very pleased you will be with us at Benedicitne Preschool!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL Wednesday September 9 is the first day of school. The first dayis a half-day session (9am-11:30am) for all students regardless of their scheduled days. The regular schedule begins on Thursday September 10.

ORIENTATION Wednesday September 2, 6:45pm -7:30 pm. All parents and their guests are welcome to attend the Orientation. However, those new to Benedictine Preschool would especially benefit from the meeting.

SAFETY Please park east of the playground, i.e. the parking area in back of the red barn. Parking is not permitted in the driveways, underneath the arch, or in the areas reserved for the monastery cars. Drive slowly on the monastery grounds at all times.

VOLUNTEERS Your help in any way is appreciated, i.e. assisting with special celebrations, reading a story to a class, helping to establish a children’s garden helping us with our website… etc. Please place a note in the office noting your “talent “ and availability. We will be sure to contact you.

BenedictineAcademy …(located across the street from the preschool)

We again welcome a group of ‘BA’ seniors who will be taking a course in Early Childhood. Part of the requirements of the class is giving service in Benedictine Preschool. On occasion you will see these young women assisting in the classrooms under the capable direction of our fine staff.

Don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions. l. 908 352 8714

May God bless us all as we begin this new school year of 2009-2010.
