Is Man Too Intelligent For God?

Are we too intelligent in the twenty-first century to need God? There are so many who think that God is nothing more than an object of the imagination or something that people needed in ancient times.

We all need God no matter what people may think. Godless evolution, humanism, and philosophy cannot satisfy man's basic needs. Man did not just happen by chance. The Bible is very clear that God created man (Gen. 1, 2). God has also told us why we exist: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all" (Eccl. 12: 13, 14). God wants man to be happy, however man's happiness is conditional (1 Pet. 3: 10 ff). God wants to help us develop ourselves, become saved, be good children and parents, and in general make a good contribution to this life.

All the philosophies of the world cannot offer hope beyond the grave. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live" (John 11: 25). Death is not the end – it is the beginning! God allows each and every one of us to choose how we shall spend eternity. Those who humbly submit to God's will and teaching shall have the blessing of heaven. Brethren the answer to the difficulties of our society is not more gun control, increased security, and mind controlling drugs. We urgently need a restoration of biblical morals and values. This return needs to take place in religion, in our country, in families, in schools, and, of the greatest importance, in the hearts and lives of individuals. Notice without God, intelligence is worth nothing. Because without God there is no way to live blessed after this life. Now how intelligent is that?
