Hello Classmates:

During our last luncheon (June 1st), I asked several people why we did not have an e-mail newsletter like the Class of 54. We received the 54 newsletter and enjoy it so much I thought surely we would have someone who was interested in doing our class. Well, after talking with several people it looks like I volunteered, me and my big mouth. I will try my best to bring you any news from out classmates but will need all your support. I am also asking the support of my grandsons, who are computer wizards. They have taught me all I know about computers and that's not much. If you have any news you wish to share or any thing of interest for our fellow classmates, please send them to me and I will include them in our newsletter.

We had a very nice luncheon on June 1st. It is so nice to catch up on the comings and goings of fellow classmates. I understand we had about 70 present. The North Carolina guys were there - Dave Wachter and Bill Biggs. Bill had his grandson with him and boy did he find out about his grandfather, only kidding Bill but I did see him taking notes. Also, attending for the first time was Harvey Cantner. It is so nice to talk with our classmates about old times. Yes, I believe it is old times. If you have not attended a luncheon we sure would like to have you. We meet every three months at The Mountain Restaurant in Waynesboro on the first Thursday of the month. Our next one will be September 7th at 11:30. The food is outstanding and the desserts are better yet. The cost is $8.00. I will send a notice closer to the time.

John Mowen gave the invocation and had some announcements which I would like to share.
