DIPLOMA IN CLINCAL AROMATHERAPY

Hello – and thank you for your interest in our courses!

Following completion of this course you will hold a fully accredited, recognised qualification in clinical aromatherapy that will allow you to work confidently and competently across a full range of clients.

  • This course complies with the Aromatherapy Council core curriculum and leads to the highly respected qualification : Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy
  • We are accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists for membership and insurance and are registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council [CNHC]

Why choose this course?

Many courses in Aromatherapy teach only a small selection of essential and carrier oils, and are restricted in the depth and breadth of study. This course is highly regarded within the industry, includes study of 42 essential oils and 18 carriers, product development and preparation, and provides a thorough grounding in the botany, chemistry and pharmacology of aromatherapy.

It will enable you to provide treatment to a full range of clients, including those that have more complex medical conditions and to offer oil dilutions at a more clinically efficacious level than most qualifications. Following certification you will be able to join FHT as a member and gain insurance. You will also be able to become a member of CNHC should you so wish.

This course follows the core curriculum developed by the Aromatherapy Council and accepted as the industry standard. You will be taught by Lorraine Davis, Hon. Past President FHT who helped develop the core curriculum. She has 30 years teaching experience and holds a degree in Aromatherapy.

Do I need any other qualifications before I can start?

You need to have studied massage and anatomy and physiology before you are able to qualify in aromatherapy with us.

If you don’t have any qualifications, then you can still study with us – but you will need to study massage and anatomy as well. You can do this with us if you like - either before you start your aromatherapy or alongside your aromatherapy training.

If you have started your massage and anatomy courses somewhere else - then you can continue with that and still complete your aromatherapy with us, provided that the course you are undertaking offers an accepted qualification. We just need evidence of your qualification before we can award you your Diploma. If you need any advice on this please give us a call.
