DAY 1:MONDAY, OCTOBER 6FLIGHT TO TEL AVIV

Morning flight from OT Int Airport, Johannesburg to Tel Aviv. On arrival, transfer to hotel where we overnight & after breakfast the next morning, we stroll through a fascinating Biblical garden and replica of Tabernacle of Moses!

DAY 2: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7GALILEE

MT. TABOR / CANA / NAZARETH VILLAGE & LUNCH/ MT. PRECIPICE / MEGIDDO / MT.CARMEL

Mt. Carmel – ElijahNazareth Village

Ascend Mt. Tabor’s, Church of Transfiguration. Mount Tabor was an important tribal border in the Hebrew Bible, the place where Deborah routed the enemy and the site of Jesus' transfiguration. Drive passed Cana, site of the first miracle where Jesus turned water to wine.Continue to Nazareth where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit Nazareth Village to learn how people lived in times of Jesus. We next visit Mt. Precipiceoverlooking the fertile Izrael Valley. After lunch visitthe Mukhraka on Mt. Carmel, overlooking the Izrael Valley and the Kishon. Here Elijah the prophet challenged the priests of Baal to proof whose god was more powerful and when he won, the Israelites abandoned the Canaanite deities and the false prophets were slaughtered (1 Kings 18).We then drive past to Megiddo (Armageddon) (we don’t go in), Megiddo played a prominent role in the history of the ancient Near East and one of the largest Canaanites cities, controlling the access from Egypt to Mesopotamia, which was the cause for the fiercest battles that took place here. Armageddon is where forces of God will defeat the forces of Evil in the Final Battle in the End Day.

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8GALILEE

MT. BEATITUDES / CAPERNAUM / PETER’S PRIMACY / TABGHA / ANCIENT BOAT MUSEUM / YARDENIT

Capernaum Peter’s Primacy Sea of Galilee – Boat Ride

Visit Mt. Beatitudes. Near here Jesus gave the Beatitudes, he taught on many occasions and also performed many of the miracles. Visit Capernaum, an important town for a stopover on the way to Damascus. The Gospel tells about Jesus leaving Nazareth to settle in Capernaum, which became “his own town” and centre of his activities. From its community of fishermen he chose many of his disciples (Peter, Andrew, James, John and Matthew). Continue to Peter’s Primacy. Here Jesus met again with the disciples for the "last breakfast"and restored Peter to himself after the disciple's three denials by asking him three times if Peter loved Jesus. We then visit Tabgha, where Jesus performed the miracle of the multiplication of the fish and loaves and fed 5000. Inside the church is the famous mosaic. Inside the church is the famous mosaic. Last visit today is to Gennosar Museum to see an ancient boat from the times of Jesus found under the water.

Stop at YardenitBaptismal Site by the Jordan River. Time will be available for an optional baptismal service (bring suitable clothing or hire them).

DAY 4: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9GALILEE

GOLAN HEIGHTS / CAESAREA PHILIPPI / MT. HERMON / KIBUTZ / DATES SHOP / SEA OF GALILEE BOAT RIDE

Drive past the Golan Heights above Kibbutz Gadot to see the Syrian’s fortification and overview of the valley below. The guide will explain to strategic importance of the Golan Heights to Israel. Continue through the Hula Valley to the sacred site of Caesarea Philippi at the base of Mt. Hermon and the sources of the Jordan River. Here Herod the Great built a Shrine to Caesar and Phillipi his son embellished the town and named it Caesaria. Here also Simon acknowledged Jesus as the Messiah, to which Jesus replied: “You are Peter and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. Drive up Mt. Hermon and ascend to the top by cable car for a spectacular bird view of the area. Visit Kibbutz Kfar Blum for a tour to learn about this unique way of life and the settlements in modern Israel. Visit a unique Dates shop. Tonight after dinner, take a Boat Ride across the Sea of Galilee and hear how Jesus calmed the stormy sea and walked upon these waters………and minister unto the Lord!!

DAY 5: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10DEAD SEA / EIN GEDI ICEJ-CELEBRATIONS

JERICHO / AHAVA / QUMRAN / FEAST OF TABERNACLES EVENING-CELEBRATION

Visit to Jericho known as the old city in the world Joshua conquered. Drive passed Qasar El Yahud to view the site according to tradition where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Visit Ahava’s Dead Sea cosmetics factory and shop and continue to Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls where found.Attend the spectacular evening opening event of Feast of Tabernacles + light dinner at Ein Gedi in the desert!!Overnight in hotel at the Dead Sea where we can have ample time to enjoy a float the next morning before we start our day!!

DAY 6: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11JERUSALEM

TIME-OUT / DEAD SEA & HOTEL-SPA / MASSADA

Enjoy the salty waters of the Dead Sea or Spa-facilities at hotel or rest! Half day tour--We drive toMasadaand ascend by cable car. Our guide will take us on a fascinating tour of this mountain where 960 Jewish defenders organized the last resistance to the Roman conquerors.

DAY 7: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12JERUSALEM

MT. OF OLIVES / ASCENSION CHAPEL /GETHSEMANE / ST PETER GALLICANTU / POOLS OF BETHESDA / LITHOSTROTOS / VIA DOLOROSA / GARDEN TOMB & COMMUNION / (OPTIONAL:FEAST OF TABERNACLES MORNING SEMINARS / EVENING CELEBRATION AT ICEJ-CONVENTION CENTRE)

Gathsemane Garden Tomb Table Mount & Dome of the Rock

Ascend the hills of Judea and enter Jerusalem the “Eternal City of GOD”! Drive up to the crest of Mt. of Olives. Here overlooking the Temple, Jesus taught His disciples, prophesized the destruction of Jerusalem. From here the entire city of Jerusalem unfolds before us. Visit Ascension Chapel,Garden ofGethsemane where Jesus was taken captive.Our next visit is to St Peter Gallicantuwhere the house of Caiaphas was. Continue to Pools ofBethesda, located north of the temple mount. The pools were probably designed at times Herod the Great for the Jewish inhabitants to purify themselves and here Jesus performed the miracle of healing an infirm man. We next visit Lithostrotos. Take a short walk along Via Dolorosa and get out of Damascus Gate. The last visit today is at Garden Tomb where we will hold a Communion Service. (Optional: Feast of Tabernacles evening celebrations)

DAY 8: MONDAY, OCTOBER 13JERUSALEM

DEAD SEA SCROLLS / YAD VASHEM / EIN KAREM / CITY OF DAVID / (OPTIONAL: FEAST OF TABERNACLES MORNING AND EVENING CELEBRATIONS AT ICEJ CONVENTION-CENTRE)

Drive to a site ( Ramat Rachel) to take a view of Bethlehem. Visit the museum of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the model of Jerusalem during the 2nd Temple. Drive to Yad Vashem a memorial to the 6 million Jews perished in the Holocaust. We next visit the archeological site City of David and Hezekiah Tunnel+ Gihon Springs.Continue to the picturesque village of Ein Karem, birthplace of John the Baptist and where Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth (Optional: Attend AM-Seminar/Feast of Tabernacles evening celebration)

DAY 9: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14JERUSALEM

FREE DAY!! (OPTIONAL: FEAST OF TABERNACLES MORNING SEMINAR & AFTERNOON STREET-PARADE OF THE NATIONS & ISRAELI-NIGHT AT CONVENTION-CENTRE!!)

Free day for your own activities/shopping at Ben Yehuda Street, Mamila Centre & the Old City.Alternatively attend ICEJ Morning Seminar. (Optional: Attend AM-Seminar and/or Take part in Jerusalem-March/ “Parade of the Nations”-Event that can be seen and experienced from our hotel and/or attend Israeli-night at ICEJ!!

DAY 10: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15JERUSALEM

Free day for your own activities/shopping…..or visit Psalm-museum close to hotel…alternatively visit Prayer-House-Succot Hallel / Prayer-House- King of Kings or take part in morning-activities of ICEJ.

DAY 11: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16JERUSALEM

UPPER ROOM / WESTERN WALL/ TEMPLE MOUNT… & FREE AFTERNOON!!

Half day walking tour with Conrad through the Old City and Jewish Quarters to the Upper Room, Western WallTemple Mount.. Strolling back through the Arab quarters/bazaar & shops @ leisure for rest of day!!

DAY 12: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17FLIGHT HOME

01:00AM transfer to the airport for a flight home 05:30AM. Arrive Johannesburg approximately 14:30.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS & SITES: All hotel accommodations are based on standard rooms. The hotels are subject to availability at time of booking.

TOUR SEQUENCE: The sequence of visits to sites may change according to the discretion of the tour operator and guide in consultation with the tour leader, if they deem necessary. In case sequence is changed, all items on the itinerary will still be covered. Sightseeing marked (*) are subject to situation.

RESERVATIONS & SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS: All reservations for this tour are confirmed upon receipt of your Registration Form and non-refundable deposits, which is due upon reservation. The final payment is due 6 weeks prior departure, unless airlines call for forward ticketing. Should departure be sooner than 6 weeks between booking and departure, full payment will be required once confirmation of flights and accommodation have been secured.

LAND & AIRFARES: Air and land rates of this tour are based on current tariffs in effect today.

Flight tickets are based on NON-REFUNDABLE group airfare. Airfares are based on a group of minimum 20 passengers. Prices are subject to increases by the airline according to availability at time of booking. Amendments of reservation permitted but may be subject to penalty by airline.

  • Land fares (60% of the tour price) are subject to currency rate of exchange fluctuations, based on thebank’s selling rate as above.
  • Airport taxes and fuel charges are subject to changes by the airline, finalized when the tickets are issued.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: The Initial deposit is non-refundable.

“Final payment” is fully refundable (excluding the non-refundable deposits) until 6 weeks prior departure. Thereafter, cancellations become non-refundable and can only be recovered through a travel insurance policy. All cancellations must be made in writing to Heavenly Int. Tours. Travel insurance is highly recommended and available through Heavenly Int. Tours office.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: AIG Group Travel Insurance for persons under 70 years old is included at premium of R18 per day.

VISAS: South Africans passport holders do not require visa to Israel.

UNUSED SERVICES: No refund will be made for unused touring, meals or any other program components stated in the itinerary.

PASSPORT: Valid S.A passport for 6 months after return date to S.A is required. Complete Passport information as requested in the enclosed Registration Form must be submitted to Heavenly International Tours.

Please note: If you don not have a passport, please apply within a proper time limit. It can take up to 12 weeks to process.

FEES EXCLUDED: Passport Fees, meals, drinks, wines, liquors and beverages not mentioned in itinerary, items of personal nature; such as telephone, laundry, room service and sites other than those mentioned.

PURCHASE OF MERCHANDISE: Heavenly International Tours is not to be held responsible for any item/s purchased during the tour, not for their quality nor their prices. All and any purchase will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.

TOUR DATES: As in any international flight, tour dates may slightly change according to the requirements
