Health Education North West has been running HPE Courses for 18 years.

The primary aim of this course is to allow participants to meet with colleagues at a similar stage of their career to share good practice and support each other in their professional development.

We plan to cover some clinical subjects, as well as working together in groups of eight or nine to develop skills in areas such as leadership, negotiation and assertiveness. We will also explore Commissioning and Revalidation.

The course is available to all newly qualified GPs in the first 12 months after completion of training and they are eligible to attend all five modules. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis but we will endeavour to meet the demand.

The course will be fully funded by NHS Health Education North West and you can attend all four modules (i.e. Five days) or select the ones that most suit your educational needs.

There is no additional HPE funding available to support alternative courses or education events this year.
