Seminar on “Buddhism Philosophy Vs. Safety Management”

The Association has jointly organized with The PolyU Buddhism Studies Group (PUBSG) for a seminar on the topic “Buddhism Philosophy Vs. Safety Management”. Details of the seminar are as follows:

Content: Safety management is a discipline of art and science which focuses on saving of human life and survival from accidents. From this standpoint, can philosophy of Buddhism, which also focuses on life and death of mankind, have a dialogue and be beneficial to safety management? What kind of cause and effectiveness the two talks about when an accident occurred? When human being and human factor are the concern of safety, which one has the best way to control?
