He Heals the Broken-Hearted and Binds up Their Wounds
Day 1
Psa 147:1-13
Praise Yah! For it is good to sing praises to our Elohim. For it is pleasant – praise is fitting.
יהוה builds up Yerushalayim, He gathers the outcasts of Yisra’ĕl –
He heals the broken-hearted And binds up their wounds.
He appoints the number of the stars, He gives names to all of them.
Great is our Master and mighty in power, There is no limit to His understanding.
יהוה lifts up the meek ones, He throws the wrong ones down to the ground.
Respond to יהוה with thanksgiving; Sing praises on a lyre to our Elohim,
Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepares rain for the earth, Who makes grass to sprout on the mountains,
Giving to the beast its food, To the young ravens that cry.
He does not delight in the strength of the horse, He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
יהוה takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who wait for His kindness.
Extol יהוה, O Yerushalayim! Praise your Elohim, O Tsiyon
For He has strengthened the bars of your gates, He has blessed your children in your midst,
1Th 5:8-11
But we who are of the day should be sober, putting on the breastplate of belief and love, and as a helmet the expectation of deliverance.
Because Elohim did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain deliverance through our Master יהושע Messiah,
Who died for us, so that we, whether awake or asleep, should live together with Him.
Therefore encourage one another, and build up one another, as indeed you do.
Eph 2:4-7
But Elohim, who is rich in compassion, because of His great love with which He loved us,
Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Messiah – by favour you have been saved
And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenlies in Messiah יהושע,
In order to show in the coming ages the exceeding riches of His favour in kindness toward us in Messiah יהושע.
Col 3:1-4
If, then, you were raised with Messiah, seek the matters which are above, where Messiah is, seated at the right hand of Elohim.
Mind the matters above, not those on the earth.
For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Messiah in Elohim.
When the Messiah, who is our life, is manifested, then you also shall be manifested with Him in esteem.
Day 2
Col 1:5-6
Because of the expectation that is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News,
Which has come to you, as also in all the world it is bearing fruit and growing, as also among you, since the day you heard and knew the favour of Elohim in truth,
Gal 2:16-21
Knowing that a man is not declared right by works of Torah, but through belief in יהושע Messiah, even we have believed in Messiah יהושע, in order to be declared right by belief in Messiah and not by works of Torah, because by works of Torah no flesh shall be declared right.
“And if, while seeking to be declared right by Messiah, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Messiah then a servant of sin? Let it not be!
“For if I rebuild what I once overthrew, I establish myself a transgressor.
“For through Torah I died to Torah, in order to live to Elohim.
“I have been impaled with Messiah, and I no longer live, but Messiah lives in me. And that which I now live in the flesh I live by belief in the Son of Elohim, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
“I do not set aside the favour of Elohim, for if righteousness is through Torah, then Messiah died for naught.”
1Jn 2:23-25
No one denying the Son has the Father. The one confessing the Son has the Father as well.
As for you, let that stay in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning stays in you, you also shall stay in the Son and in the Father.
And this is the promise that He has promised us: everlasting life.
Rom 6:22-23
But now, having been set free from sin, and having become servants of Elohim, you have your fruit resulting in set-apartness, and the end, everlasting life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the favourable gift of Elohim is everlasting life in Messiah יהושע our Master.
Rom 8:14-18
For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim,
And if children, also heirs – truly heirs of Elohim, and co-heirs with Messiah, if indeed we suffer with Him, in order that we also be exalted together.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the esteem that is to be revealed in us.
Day 3
Rom 8:24-25
For in this expectation we were saved, but expectation that is seen is not expectation, for when anyone sees, does he expect it?
And if we expect what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with endurance.
1Pe 1:3-12
Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע Messiah, who according to His great compassion has caused us to be born again to a living expectation through the resurrection of יהושע Messiah from the dead,
To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, having been kept in the heavens for you,
Who are protected by the power of Elohim through belief, for a deliverance ready to be revealed in the last time,
In which you exult, even though for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by manifold trials,
In order that the proving of your belief – much more precious than gold that perishes, and proven by fire – might be found to result in praise and respect and esteem at the revelation of יהושע Messiah,
Whom having not seen, you love; in whom you exult with unspeakable and esteemed joy, yet not seeing, but believing,
Obtaining the goal of your belief: a deliverance of lives.
Concerning this deliverance the prophets have sought out and searched out, prophesying concerning the favour for you,
Searching to know what, or what sort of time, the Spirit which was in them was pointing out concerning Messiah, when it was bearing witness beforehand the sufferings of Messiah, and the esteems that would follow,
To whom it was revealed that they were serving, not themselves, but you, in these matters which now have been announced to you through those who brought the Good News to you by the Set-apart Spirit sent from heaven – into which messengers long to look into.
2Ti 4:5-8
But you be sober in all matters, suffer hardships, do the work of an evangelist, accomplish your service completely.
For I am already being poured out, and the time of my departure has arrived.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have guarded the belief.
For the rest, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Master, the righteous Judge, shall give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all those loving His appearing.
Day 4
Pro 5:1-2
My son, listen to my wisdom; Incline your ear to my understanding,
So as to watch over discretion, And your lips guard knowledge.
Psa 111:9
He sent redemption to His people, He has commanded His covenant forever. Set-apart and awesome is His Name.
The fear of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom, All those doing them have a good understanding. His praise is standing forever.
Psa 90:9-12
For all our days have passed away in Your wrath, We spend our years like a whisper.
The days of our lives are seventy years; Or if due to strength, eighty years, Yet the best of them is but toil and exertion; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Who knows the power of Your displeasure? And your wrath, according to the fear of You?
Teach us to number our days, And let us bring the heart to wisdom.
Psa 119:97-105
O how I love Your Torah! It is my study all day long.
Your commands make me wiser than my enemies; For it is ever before me.
I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your witnesses are my study.
I understand more than the aged, For I have observed Your orders.
I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I might guard Your word.
I have not turned aside from Your right-rulings, For You Yourself have taught me.
How sweet to my taste has Your word been, More than honey to my mouth!
From Your orders I get understanding; Therefore I have hated every false way.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
Pro 4:5-11
“Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, and do not turn away From the words of my mouth.
“Do not leave her, and let her guard you; Love her, and let her watch over you.
“The beginning of wisdom is: Get wisdom! And with all your getting, get understanding.
“Exalt her, and let her uplift you; She brings you esteem when you embrace her.
“She gives your head a fair wreath, She shields you with an adorning crown.”
Hear, my son, and accept my words, And let the years of your life be many.
I have taught you in the way of wisdom, I have led you in straight paths.
Pro 16:16
How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is preferable to silver.
Day 5
Pro 3:13-26
Blessed is the man who has found wisdom, And the man who gets understanding;
For the gain from it is better Than gain from silver, And its increase than fine gold.
She is more precious than rubies, And all your delights are not comparable to her.
Length of days is in her right hand, Riches and esteem in her left hand.
Her ways are pleasant ways, And all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those taking hold of her, And blessed are all who retain her.
יהוה founded the earth by wisdom; He established the heavens by understanding;
By His knowledge the depths were broken up, And clouds drop down dew.
My son, let them not depart from your eyes; Watch over sound wisdom and discretion;
Then they become life to your being And an adorning to your neck.
Then you would walk safely in your way, And your foot would not stumble.
When you lie down, you need not be afraid. And you shall lie down and your sleep shall be sweet.
Do not be afraid of sudden dread, Nor of the ruin of the wrong when it comes;
For יהוה is at your side, And He shall guard your foot from being caught.
1Co 2:6-9
Yet we speak wisdom among those who are perfect, and not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age that are being brought to naught.
But we speak the wisdom of Elohim, which was hidden in a secret, and which Elohim ordained before the ages for our esteem,
Which no one of the rulers of this age knew, for if they had known, they would not have impaled the Master of esteem.
But as it has been written, “Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man what Elohim has prepared for those who love Him.
Jas 3:16-18
For where jealousy and self-seeking are, there is confusion and every foul deed.
But the wisdom from above is first clean, then peaceable, gentle, ready to obey, filled with compassion and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
And the fruit of righteousnessis1 sown in peace by those who make peace.
Jas 1:5-6
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him.
But he should ask in belief, not doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Day 6

Psa 33:17-22
A horse is a vain means of safety; Neither does it rescue any by its great power.
See, the eye of יהוה is on those fearing Him, On those waiting for His kindness,
To deliver their being from death, And to keep them alive during scarcity of food.
Our being has longed for יהוה; Our help and our shield is He.
For our heart does rejoice in Him, For we have put our trust in His set-apart Name.
Let Your kindness, O יהוה, be upon us, Even as we wait for You.
Joh 14:27
“Peace I leave with you – My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
1Pe 5:6-11
Humble yourselves, then, under the mighty hand of Elohim, so that He exalts you in due time,
Casting all your worry upon Him, for He is concerned about you.
Be sober, watch, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Resist him, firm in the belief, knowing that the same hardships are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
And the Elohim of all favour, who called you to His everlasting esteem by Messiah יהושע, after you have suffered a while, Himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
To Him be the esteem and the might forever and ever. Amĕn.
1Jn 4:4-6
You are of Elohim, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
They are of the world, therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.
We are of Elohim – the one knowing Elohim hears us. He who is not of Elohim does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of the Truth and the spirit of the delusion.
Day 7
Psa 34:1-9
I bless יהוה at all times; His praise is continually in my mouth.
My being makes its boast in יהוה; Let the humble hear and be glad.
Oh, make יהוה great with me, And let us exalt His Name together.
I sought יהוה, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were lightened, And their faces were not ashamed.
This poor one cried out and יהוה heard him, And saved him out of all his distresses.
The messenger of יהוה encamps all around those who fear Him, And rescues them.
Oh, taste and see that יהוה is good; Blessed is the man that takes refuge in Him!
Fear יהוה, you His set-apart ones, For there is no lack to them who fear Him!
Psa 25:15-22
My eyes are ever toward יהוה, For He brings my feet out of the net.
Turn Your face to me, and show me favour, For I am lonely and afflicted.
The distresses of my heart have enlarged; Oh, bring me out of my distresses!
Look on my affliction and my toil, And forgive all my sins.
See how many my enemies have become; And they hate me with a violent hatred.
Oh, guard my life, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in You.
Let integrity and straightness guard me, For I have waited for You.
Redeem Yisra’ĕl, O Elohim, Out of all his distresses!
Psa 31:6-8
I have hated those who observe lying vanities; But I trust in יהוה.
I exult and rejoice in Your kindness, For You have seen my affliction; You have known the distresses of my life,
And You have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy. You have set my feet in a large place.
Show me favour, O יהוה, for I am in distress; My eye, my being and my body have become old with grief!
For my life is consumed in sorrow, And my years in sighing; My strength fails because of my crookedness, And my bones have become old.
I am a reproach among all my adversaries, But most of all among my neighbours, And a dread to my friends; Those who see me outside flee from me.
I have been forgotten like someone dead from the heart; I have been like a missing vessel.
For I hear the evil report of many; Fear is from all around; When they take counsel together against me, They plot to take away my life.
But I, I have put my trust in You, O יהוה; I have said, “You are my Elohim.”
Day 8
2Co 5:17-21
Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a renewed creature – the old matters have passed away, see, all matters have become renewed!
