Established pediatric practice is seeking a full-time board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Experience preferred but not required. Part-time applicants will be considered. Nurse Practitioners provide primary care pediatric services to children and adolescents. Monday-Friday work schedule plus every 3rd weekend. After hours telephone call is scheduled on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, documentation and follow-up skills. We are a successful and established private practice of five pediatricians, two nurse practitioners, and two mental health providers. We operate two office locations. General pediatric care is provided in a high volume, fast paced outpatient setting. Our mental health professionals provide counseling and educational services to patients and work closely with our providers to assess and treat patients with ADHD, learning disorders, and other mental health diagnoses. Providers see scheduled patients as well as patients who come to our walk-in clinic. Walk-in hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-9:30am, Saturday from 9:00am-12:00pm, and Sunday from 1:00pm-3:00pm. We are located in the Harrisonburg, Va. in the heart of the central Shenandoah Valley. Nestled between the Allegheny and the Blue Ridge Mountains, the area provides easy access to interstates, airports, and railroads.

Children are afforded a good education through the Harrisonburg and Rockingham County public school systems. Several highly rated private elementary and secondary schools are also located in the valley.
