1. Accept Anti Bullying Bill of Rights 2013-2014

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education

Accepts the NJDOE School Self Assessment for Determining Grades under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act with a score of 62 out of 75.”

B. Facilities and Finance

1.Appropriation Transfers for the 2012-2013 School Year

RES 000-13/14 "RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the attached lists of appropriation transfers for the 2012-2013 school year."

2.Payment of Bills

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the payment of bills as per the listings dated June 30, 2013 and July 22, 2013 to the Finance Committee and affixed to the minutes of this meeting.”

3.Approve School Lunch Prices for 2013-2014

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED that the Harding Township Board of Education approves school lunch prices, per the attached list, for the 2013-2014 school year.”

4.Approve Student Activities Account Reconciliation Report

RES000-13/14 "RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves and affixes to the minutes of this meeting, the Student Activity Reconciliation Reports for June 2012."

5.Approve 2013-14 School Year Tuition Contract Agreement – Montgomery Academy

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the 2013-14 School Year Tuition Contract Agreement with Montgomery Academy, for Student 10203, from Sept. 4, 2013 to June 30, 2014, at anannual cost of $51,931.80 (per diem rate of $288.51 for 180 days), as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

6. Approve 2013-14 School Year Tuition & Extraordinary Services Contract Agreement – Montgomery Academy

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the 2013-14 School Year Tuition Contract Agreement with Montgomery Academy, for Student 10187, from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014, at anannual cost of $57,702.00 (per diem rate of $288.51 for 200 days), and Extraordinary Services at a per diem rate of $155.00 for a total of $31,000, as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

7. Approve 2013-2014 Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement – Long Hill Township Board of Education

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the 2013-14 Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement with Long Hill Township School District for Student10170 from July 1, 2013 to July 26, 2013 at a cost of $3,000 tuition and $775.00 for related services for a total of $3,775.00, as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

8.Approve 2013-2014 Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement – Long Hill Township School District

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the 2013-14 Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement with Long Hill Township School District for Student,10251from July 1, 2013 to July 26, 2013 at a cost of $3,000 tuition and $775.00 for related services for a total of $3,775.00, as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

9.Approve 2013-2014 Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement – Long Hill Township Board of Education

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the 2013-14 Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement with Long Hill Township School District for Student,10249from July 1, 2013 to July 26, 2013 at a cost of $3,000 tuition and $775.00 for related services for a total of $3,775.00, as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

10. Approve 2013-2014 Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement – Long Hill Township Board of Education

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the 2013-14 Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement with Long Hill Township School District for Student, 10250 from July 1, 2013 to July 26, 2013 at a cost of $3,000 tuition and $575.00 for related services for a total of $3,575.00, as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

11.Approve 2013-2014 Tuition Contract – Shepard Preparatory High School

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the Tuition Contract with Shepard Preparatory High School for Student 360, for the 2013-2014 School Year, at a cost of $48,560.88, 183 days, as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

12.Approve Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement – Chester School District

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement with Chester School District, for StudentSE6, from July 1, 2013 to August 13, 2013, at a cost of $4,200.00, as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

13. Approve Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement – Chester School District

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the Extended School Year Tuition Contract Agreement with Chester School District, for StudentSE3, from July 1, 2013 to August 13, 2013, at a cost of $4,200.00, as indicated in the student’s IEP.”

14. Approve Purchase of Cafeteria Equipment – BFA & Associates

“WHEREAS quotations were solicited for the replacement of the following cafeteria equipment:

1 - Gartland 36” Range (6 open burners)

1 –Gartland Convection Oven

1 –Delfield 2 Section Reach-in Refrigerator

1 –Vollrath Self Serve Cold Pan Serving Counter

1 – Vollrath Hot Food Serving Counter.

WHEREAS, the following three companies quoted on a “total award’ basis:

BFA & Associates, Inc. - $21,741.71

E&A Supply Co. - $22,540.35

Singer Equipment Co. - $22,455.00

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Harding Township BOE accept the low quotation dated 5/10/13 of BFA and Associates and ratifies the issuing of purchase order P201400124in the amount of $21,741.71 to be paid from the cafeteria fund balance per audit of June 30, 2012.”

15.Approve Purchase of Cafeteria Equipment from Hubert USA

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education ratify the purchase from Hubert USA for cafeteria use a mahogany display cart with display baskets at a total cost of $1716.16 to be paid from the cafeteria fund balance per audit of June 30, 2012.”

16. Approve Application for Use of School Facilities

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves, based on availability as certified by the Office of the Principal, an Application for use of School Facilities submitted by HTRA for the use of the gymnasium on March 30, April 6, April 13, April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18, and June 1, 2014, from 10:30 am – 6:00 pm.”

17.Approve Application for Use of School Facilities

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves, based on availability as certified by the Office of the Principal, an Application for use of School Facilities submitted by HTRA for the use of the gymnasium on November 17, November 24, December 8, December 15, 2013, January 5, January 12, January 19, January 26, February 2, February 9, February 16, February 23, March 2, March 9, March 16, March 23, 2014 from 12:00 Noon – 6:00 pm.”

18.Approve Application for Use of School Facilities

RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves, based on availability as certified by the Office of the Principal, an Application for use of School Facilities submitted by HTRA for the use of the gymnasium for the week of June 2, 2014 from 3:15 pm – 5:30 pm.”

2. Approve Change in Guide – Kevin McPeek

RES 000-12/13 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education

approves a change in guide for Kevin McPeek, from BA Step 1 to BA+15 Step 1, from $48,040.00 to $49,740.00, effective September 1, 2013, upon the recommendation of the superintendent.”
