Our Next Meetingwill be on Tuesday, March 3rd, 7:00pm, at the Fairway Café in Lynden.
Our Fun Show went really well! We had 52 riders which made for a long day but everyone had “fun” which is what it’s all about. A big THANK YOU! to all who pitched in and helped to make the events run so smoothly.
Fair Committee: The first practice went great and they’d like to encourage more to attend. The next one will be Tuesday, February 17th, in the WA Tractor Arena. Warm up begins at 6pm with practice from 6:30-8:00pm so other members can still use the arena afterwards.
Upcoming Fair Practice’s:March 17th, and April 21st
Tuesday Night Riding 6:00-9:00pm: in the Luft Arena at the Fairgrounds.

Games Committee: Lots of new shows in the works ~ check the calendar! And a reminder for when using stalls at the Fairgrounds; the Fair charges us $16 per stall. This means as soon as you break the zip tie to the stall, we will be charged ~ whether you stall your horse or use it as a tack room. We are also not allowed to tie horses outside the stalls in the alleyway. We appreciate everyone’s help in remembering and following these guidelines in the future!
Awards Committee: Remember to sign up for year end rewards if you haven’t! Rides don’t begin to count until fee is paid. Welcome and thank youto Jodi and Jason who are joining Bree on the committee.
Benefit Committee:Our show is a little over a month away and lots of help is needed!! A letter and forms are attached along with this newsletter ~ lots of important information so take time to readit! Silent auction items are the greatest need and they’d like everyone to help solicit. If you have a small item you’d like to donate, Dixie is putting together an NVR basket. Contact Brenda or Jan with auction items or questions. Spread the word! Help us make this benefit show another huge success as we honor Melanie and raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis.
