Happy Spring! As we enter this busy time of year, please note the following important information:

SOUVENIR Recital Program: We are excited about our Annual Keepsake Program!Options include personal and/or business ads. Photos of your student may be included through a .pdf/. jpg file. Please pick up a form or download one from our website. Ads will be due by April 30! Don’t miss out. The family selling the most ads gets their picture on the back cover! Pre-order your Keepsake Program for $10. Programs will be available at the recital for $12.

Summer & Fall Registration: All students planning to attend Summer and Fall classes need to fill out a new registration form and submit it along with a $13.00per class registration fee. There will be a $52 cap per student on registration fees. Please note that spots will not be held for returning students who do not register. Summer classes and camps are a great way to improve your skills, stay in shape and have fun over the long summer break. Dance should be done year round to reach your full potential.

5-yr/10 yr/15 yr/Senior Trophies: Sign up now if you are receiving an anniversary trophy for your years of dance. You must sign up on one of the sheets to ensure that a trophy is ordered. Please sign up by the end of April!

Parent Meeting: Meetings will be held the first 15 minutes of each class to go over details regarding the costume, dress rehearsal, and recital from April 30– May 5. The picture day and dress rehearsal schedules will be available at this time. The Parent Volunteer sheet will also be available. BRING YOUR COSTUME TO THE MEETING!

Open House & Walk-In Registration: All are welcome to stop by the studio on Saturday, April 7 or Sunday, April 8between 3PM and 5PM. Ms. Fran will be available to answer questions about next year’s classes and placement.

Year-End Tuition Payment: Final payments will be collected in May for both May and June Tuition. Unlimited Tuition payments for Mayis be due on the 1st, while a payment of half of the regular tuition amount will be due on May 15th for June. No payments will be due in June. Please make sure that your account is current. All delinquent accounts will begin to incur late fees.

Bring a Friend to Dance: Invite a friend to join you in class May 7 – 12!

Recital Ticket Sales: Ticket sales begin Saturday, May 19. 9:00 a.m. All tickets are reserved seating. Tickets will be available on-line only.
Tickets will be $14.00 on-line and $16.00 at the door.

Picture Day: Picture day is Sunday, May 20. Pictures are taken in the studio. Group pictures will be taken, followed by an opportunity to have individual pictures taken if you choose. We are again working with Memory Makers. This is a company that comes highly recommended, and sends the proper, professional staff to assure our picture day is an on time and pleasant event! There is no fee to come and be photographed for your group. We would like to have you included on the composite pictures that hang in the studio. Picture times are now posted in the studio and available online at . Come dressed in your costume/first costume with hair and makeup done.

Parkland Arts Festival: Everyone is invited to see our show at Parkland High School & participate in the activities scheduled on Saturday, May 19. Time TBA. The following classes are being asked to perform: Classes are listed by time and class #s.

Dress Rehearsal: Dress Rehearsal for the recital is held in the Parkland High School Auditorium on Wednesday, June 6 and Thursday, June 7. The schedule is now posted online and on the bulletin board. Students are to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time DRESSED IN YOUR COSTUME/ FIRST COSTUME, WITH HAIR AND MAKE UP DONE. The dress rehearsal is not open to the public. However, parents can take pictures and videotape at this time.

Recitals: Recital Performances are Friday, June 8 at 7:00pm Saturday, June 9 at 10:30am and 3:30pm. Students are expected to perform at each recital they are scheduled for. Please check the schedule on the bulletin board and website for the Recital Breakdown which lists the performance(s) that your dancer(s) is (are) assigned.Our students and teachers have worked all year for this moment! All students will be included in a final bow and receive a ribbon for participation. Picture taking and videotaping is not permitted at the recitals. A professional video will be available for purchase. There will also be a Showcase of our dance team’s solos and duos held on Saturday, June 9 at 7:00pm.

Dance Team Audition:If you are interested in auditioning for the That’s Dancin’! Dance Team; mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 12, 6:30PM-9: 30PM. A mandatory parent meeting will be held prior to the closed audition from 6:00PM-6: 20PM.
