~~~~~~~~~~~~Local Support Groups~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Christian Way is a support group serving homeschool families throughout BrazoriaCounty. We meet the secondTuesday of each month at6:30inAngleton,TXat First Assembly of God,
329 N Anderson St. Our members are offered support and encouragement through monthly meetings, field trips, teen activities, community service, and seasonal celebrations. Each monthly meeting includes a topical discussion for parents, while students are engaged in fun activities. We have a wonderful group of moms who have varying approaches to education yet are rooted in the same common values. We believe God gives us the authority to teach our own children based on Deuteronomy 6:6-9, Proverbs 22:6, Proverbs 1:8 and various other scriptures. We believe that the wisdom, knowledge and strength we need to instruct our children in all areas of their lives comes directly from Him. It is only with God’s power that we are enabled to carry out what we feel He has called us to do. We believe the education of children is the parent’s responsibility and that as parents we will be held accountable. Homeschooling is an awesome commitment and should be entered into with prayer and careful consideration.
