Registration / Registration from 8am on both days for the 1st session.Please have valid membership cards available at registration. 11 am on both days for the 2nd session.
Fees / £12.00 per session for Saturday 3rd Feb-WA18m& Individual Head 2 Head match play
andSunday 4th Feb – Portsmouth. Or £22 for both sessions on single day or 1 session per day
Please send in an entry form for each day (but you can use 1 cheque)
Event Timings / There will be 2 sessions on Saturday 3rd February -WA18m
Session A – All bowstyles - Assembly 08.45am followed by 2 practice ends
Session B – All bowstyles - Assembly 11.45am followed by 2 practice ends
Equipment inspection will take place during registration
Inter Counties Team fun match play on completion of session 2 and prior to the individual match play which will commence 15.30pm approx. (including any ties)
There will be 2 sessions on Sunday 4th February - Portsmouth
Session A – All bowstyles - Assembly 08.45am followed by 2 sighters ends
Session B – All bowstyles - Assembly 11.45am followed by 2 sighters ends
The awards ceremony onthe Saturday and for Hampshire Indoor Champions on the Sunday afternoon
Event Format / WA 18m-All Recurve and Compound archers will shoot on a vertical 3-spot 40cm face. Longbow & Barebowarchers will shoot on a full 40cm facebut will not proceed to the match play
Due to the limited space the top 16 archers will proceed to the individual match play.
Duringthe input of the 2nd session results, there will be an localinvitedInter CountiesTeam fun match play challenge(3 per team of comp & rec archers) followed by the individual match play.
Portsmouth – All Compound archers will shoot on a vertical 3-spot 60cm face. All Recurve, Longbow & Barebow archers will shoot on a 60cm full face.
All bosses will be layered foam
Awards / Saturday;Trophy to individual winner and medals to 2nd & 3rd place, Gents & Ladies Compound & Recurve There will be no trophies for the Longbow or Barebow shooting the full 40cm face but medals for the highest scores of the WA18m depended on numbers. Trophy for the fun team H2H
Sunday;County Champion from the Portsmouth - Single Round only; Trophies will be awarded to the highest placed Hampshire members. Ladies, Gents, Junior Ladies and Junior Gents per bow style per age group. Medals for the minor places to Hampshire archers according to number of entries. Visitor awards dependant on number of entries.
County Club Team awards shooting the Portsmouth Single Round only Medals according to entries for the minor places. Team of 3 Recurve (mixedgender) 2 Compound, Longbow,Barebow archersand 3 Juniors any bowstyle not in another team(any gender)
All awards will be taken from the first score (should you shoot a second session)
Dress / Please refer to the Archery GB Rules of Shooting for the dress regulations 307
Archers should comply with dress regulations until after the presentations. Please wear sports shoes in the hall
Drug Testing / Archers competing at record status tournaments may be liable for drugs testing.
Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply.
Non-compliance will be treated as a positive result.
Parents / Guardians must sign the relevant box on the entry forms giving consent for junior archers (Under 18’s) to be drug tested if approached.
Refreshments / Refreshmentsare available at the venue
Photography / In line with the recommendation in the Archery GB Safeguarding Policy, those who wish to take photographs or video at this event are to register with the Tournament Secretary on arrival.
Unauthorised photography is not permitted.
Special Notes / Archers who are unable to get to the target should arrange for an assistant to aid in scoring and arrow collection.
Car Parking / Free parking will be available at the venue
Dogs / Only guide dogs are permitted in the venue
Smoking / Please use the designated smoking area provided, including E cigs
Raffle / There will be a raffle on the Sunday. Donations for prizes please!
