General description
This portable LEDutility book light can be used as a free standing task light when used with the magnetic stand or when removed can be used as alightweight book light with a clip that grips to almost anything.
The six energy-efficient LEDscast 28 Lumens of bright white light. The optical grade lens spreads light evenly with no spots and hastwo brightness settings.
The arm can be bent in any direction easily and into a compact position for storage.
It takes 3 × AAA batteries. (The battery life should last up to 10 hours).
Orientation
The on/off switch is located at the top of the neck. The large clip is located at the other end of the flexible arm which also can detach from the magnetic stand.
Removing the light from the stand
To remove the light from the magnetic stand,holdthe product with the large clip and smooth semicircle ridge at front the facing you. Gently push the body of the book light away from you,dislodging it from the moveable clasp and sliding it out of the magnetic base.
Inserting the clip into the stand
To insert the light back into the magnetic stand, hold the base and using the same motion as when removing the light, tuck the back end of the light under the moveable clasp and gently push away until it slots back into the base.
Batteries
The battery compartment is situated in the main body of the lamp (not in the magnetic base). To open, locate the tactile triangle on the underside of the lampand slide the cover towards the flexible arm.
The flat edge of the battery is the negative (-), this should be inserted against the spring situated in the battery compartment.
This product takes 3 × AAA batteries replacements are available (product code CP05.)
