RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on the 29th February2016, having previously been circulated, were approved.

Mrs Buckingham – Clarification and procedure re the Nomination process for HIST Trustees.

Mr Norton – Clarification re procedure for existing Trustees – already provided.

Mrs Brynjulfsen – request for Parish / Public & Open meeting.

  • Mr Johnson – information request re Defibrillator – BHF application was sent in, but no response as yet. School also fund raising for a community Defibrillator.

  2. Arrange first cut / mowing of Cemetery
  1. Highways/Maintenance Matters
  • Street lamp on Horninghold Road / Medbourne Road was repaired – but still inactive – clerk to organise revisit.
  • Road signs (directional) need attention; Allexton Road, Goadby Road, Horninghold Road.
  • Potholes are getting far worse, specifically; Goadby Road, Medbourne Road, Horninghold Road junction, Langton Road – clerk to reiterate & District Councillor M Rickman to assist.

7.Taxi Vouchers– none.

8.Planning

  • 16/00316/FUL –Mr H James, Replacement of existing roof to increase the ridge height; conversion of loft to habitable accommodation; installation of three dormer windows to front and Juliet balcony to side, 3 Oak Yard, High Street, Hallaton. NO COMMENT

  • HDC – Annual Parish Liaison Event Summary
  • HM Queen Elizabeth II 90th Birthday, Commemorative Medals – committee to organise.
  • External Audit changes – PC confirms that the council will remain opted in to the Sector Led Body arrangements for the procurement of external audit.

Items of Report

  • Queens 90th Birthday – street party June 2016 suggested, organising committee arranged.
  • Clerk – Mrs Wendy Hunt, letter of resignation – post to be advertised.
  • Delivery date for the newsletter – consider changing to mid-month.

Thenext meeting of theHallaton Parish Council will be held on Monday, 25th April 2016, 7.30pm, in The Stenning Hall.

The meeting was declared closed at 8.25pm.
