There is an interesting green market at the foot of the old town walls.

After the brake at the old town of Bar continuing to the southernmost town at the Montenegrin coast town of Ulcinj.

Town is known from ancient times first as a Greek town Helcinium , later as a roman town Ulcinium. During the Turkish reign after 1571 , Turks inhabited the town of Ulcinj with black pirates from north Africa, who later became the cruelest pirates at the Adriatic sea. It’s interesting to say that there are still some black families/whose forefathers where pirates/ living in Ulcinj, most of them are fisherman one family gave a famous photographer. Visit to the old town is included in the price of the excursion/

Town of Ulcinj , a multicultural town , where eastern and western cultures always met .

Excursion is organized on Friday. Friday is a market day in Ulcinj. People from all surrounding areas are coming to sell their goods. Nice atmosphere which reminds on oriental Markets . Older women dressed in a national Albanian costumes selling at the market……..

After longer stop at the market a trip to the long beach of Ulcinj . A breathtaking view to the sea and never ending beach

Of very fine grey sand of volcanic origin.

After a brake at the long beach of Ulcinj continuing to the very border with Albania, actually the river Bojana is a natural border between Montenegro and Albania.

A beautiful river coming down from Skadar lake a home for a numerous bird species . At the river estuary there is a beautiful island Ada , a paradise for naturists from all over Europe.

From Bojana river about 13.00 departure back to the hotel,
