2. Proposed Venues
Details on where you propose to hold lectures/ house students etc.
2.1 What is the proposed lecture venue for the workshop
(bear in mind that Habitable Workshop needs to accommodation approximately 40 students and 10 staff)
Please comment on the availability of the venue and the process/dates by which it must be secured.
2.2 Proposed student accommodation, availability and process/dates by which it must be secured. How will students travel from the accommodation to the lecture venue?
(Budget accommodation is preferred and students sharing is acceptable)

(Core lecturers require their own room to prepare talks and get a good night’s sleep)

3. Proposed Field Excursions

5. Budget
The budget from DST for a Habitable Planet Workshop is R300,000 of which no more than R50,000 is to be allocated to institution overheads (staff remuneration/venue hire etc). Please give an approximate budget below and attached quotes to back this up where possible. Should you have secured additional funding then this budget may exceed R300,000. Please provide details of the additional funding in section 6.
