HAAT NEWSLETTER $24November 2009

Hi Everyone,

This is the last newsletter for 2009. Our last meeting for the year was last Tuesday, 24th November.

I wish everyone a very happy Christmas and wonderful New Year.

2010 is shaping up to be an exciting year for The Trail. The Macquarie Towns Bicentenary will give us the opportunity to promote the Trail and our individual selves with exhibitions. I’m looking forward to our usual open studio weekends where it’s always exciting to meet people from all over Sydney that take the time and show an interest in what we do.

The new brochure launch should be just as successful as the last one. I’m sure we’ll all enjoy it as we did this years. Then there’s always the mystery of what unforseen opportunity’s may come our way allowing us to grow and develop both for us as a group and individually. So, good luck to everyone.

BICENTENARYMACQUARIE TOWNS ARTS GRANT

HCC have granted HAAT $1500 as a grant towards next years 2010 celebrations. We have decided to use the grant on an exhibition in the old School of Arts building in Windsor in April.

The exhibition will be named Macquarie’s Footprints.

WEBSITE LESSON

Thankyou to Satya and Deidre for the help in the library with the computer lessons. We had about 10 members come along. Hopefully any problems members were having using our new website are now solved.

CONSTITUTION MEETING

On the 4th December we will hold a constitution meeting over afternoon tea - 2pm, at Heather Rees’ home. If you are interested in coming along please bring a plate to share.

NEXT MEETING

Our next meeting will be a lunch meeting on 30th January 2010. This meeting will be over lunch to celebrate both Christmas and New Year.
