2. The APCPDCL also directs that all Offices under the control of APCPDC, shall remain closed on all Sundays and Second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2012.
3.In addition to the above General Holidays, the Employees under the control of APCPDCL may be avail themselves of Optional Holidays not exceeding FIVE during the year 2012 on the Festivals/Occasions specified in the Annexure appended to these orders at their option irrespective of the religion to which the Festival pertains. However, permission to avail any of these holidays should be applied for, in writing in advance and will normally be granted by the Superior Officer competent to grant casual leave except when the presence of an individual Employee is considered necessary in the exigencies of the work of APCPDCL.
4.If the Government announces any change of date through electronic/print media in respect of Id-ul-Fitr, Id-ul-Zuha, Muharram and Id-e-Milad-Un-Nabi as per the moon sight or any other holiday declared now, it shall be followed by the employees of APCPDCL without waiting for formal order about the change of date.
5.These orders are issued with the Concurrence of Director (Finance & P&MM) vide Regd.No.3517, dated 17-11-2011.
