GUIDELINES FOR MARKET FREIGHT RATE : (GOEX)

1)  As part of its operations, GoEx will be obtaining a Market Rate at which vehicle is offered to the customer.

2)  Market Rate is not the rate at which Fleet Owner or Associate will offer vehicle to Transporter or Booking Agent.

3)  There is a difference between the Market Rate offered to the customer and freight rate offered by Fleet Owner to Transporter or Booking Agent.

4)  Commonly the rate quoted by an Associate or Fleet Owner to another transporter is the “Buy Rate”. The rate which a Transporter offers to Customer is referred to as “Sell Rate”

5)  The objective of obtaining market rate is that GoEx wishes to ensure that the rate offered to its customer is better than the prevailing Market Rate.

6)  The Market Rate offered to Customer shall be obtained by GoEx on day to day basis through a Mobile App. Or Web Application. The Market Rate can be entered as Full Truck Load (FTL) basis or Rate Per Ton basis on a given route at a given capacity of a vehicle.

Thus for eg.

Vapi - Taloja Rate for 9 Ton (Open Body Truck) can be entered as under :

FTL Basis Rate per Ton Vehicle Capacity

Rate to Customer 9900 1100 9

Rate to Transporter 9000 1000 9

7)  It can be seen from above, the rate per ton multiplied by Vehicle capacity gives us the FTL Rate. GoEx needs on daily basis the Market rate to customer ( Rs 9900 on FTL basis and Rs 1100/Ton) as explained above.

8)  Both options have been provided as in some transport Markets, rates are quoted on FTL basis and in some cases Rate Per Ton basis.

9)  In certain situation such as Vehicle of higher capacity (15 MT & above) the rates are quoted on Per Ton basis.

10)  The Market Rates that GoEx proposes to obtain shall be given by any one of the following :

a) Associate based in certain market transport

b) Business Development Executive or Filed Representative for GoEx

c) Marketing and Sales Manager for GoEx

10) Initially, GoEx proposes to obtain the Market Rate twice a day between 10.30 am to 11.30 am and 2nd time between 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm. However as business increases these schedules may be changed.

11) The rates proposed to be obtained shall be for loads on a route during the day.

12) User ID and Password will be assigned to the concerned person and they will be able to log in either through Desktop or Laptop or Mobile.
