As you may already be aware, the Perry Hall High School Athletic Boosters is a non-profit all volunteer organization that was established to positively impact and enrich the high school experience for our student athletes, as well as providing needed support to the athletic programs and the high school community.
Perry Hall High School has a long-standing tradition and a commitment to excellence. Academically, Perry Hall was recognized as one of "America's Best High Schools" by Newsweek in 2010 and the Washington Post in 2011. Our athletics and performing arts programs consistently achieve at the highest levels in county, state and national competitions. Eighty-five percent of Perry Hall High School students attend college after receiving their high school diploma. Athletically, Perry Hall High School has won 7 State Championships and numerous Regional and County Championshipsin recent years.
We are extremely proud of both our academic and athletic accomplishments, and recognize that interscholastic athletics is without a doubt one of the most visible elements of our school system. By virtue of their participation, our student-athletes are provided with opportunities to build and publicly display character; learn the value of sportsmanship and teamwork; display leadership, and learn to deal with both adversity and prosperity. Our continued commitment to excellence compels us to provide our student-athletes, coaches and our high school community with the very best athletic experience.
The age and current condition of our scoreboard has lead us to seek a state of the art replacement, which will cost approximately $110,000 and will be functional for all stadium events. Equipped with full color digital display technology, this new scoreboard will enhance the game-day experience for participants and spectators alike and will allow us to share more information before, during and after athletic competitions. We are very excited about our partnership with Daktronics Sports Marketing and believe that the advertising sponsorship opportunities created will allow local businesses to demonstrate in a very tangible and public way their support for the Perry Hall High School community’s commitment to excellence.
