Director

Child Development Center

Springfield, MA 56789

Dear Mrs. Brown:

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to meet with me. I am very interested in the teacher assistant position we discussed yesterday.

I feel I am an excellent candidate for the teacher assistant position. My child development course work and my teaching and working experience with children in various settings have provided me with a strong foundation for working with young children.

In addition to my work experience with young children, I was given the opportunity to develop a tutoring schedule for the after-school program. I have received numerous positive comments from parents and caregivers about their child(children) improvement in homework study skills.

Thank you for considering me for a position in your center. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
