Assessment of applications
The City Council’s International Women’s Day (IWD) 2011 grants panel will assess applications. Where appropriate we may consult with other Council staff that know your organisation, your local area or have an interest in the type of services you are planning. When assessing an application we will consider:
- What you will achieve for your local community or group within the community, for example: young people, elderly people, lesbian or bisexual women, trans women, disabled people, people from a particular minority ethnic group.
- Whether the grant will have a positive effect on community activity. Applications that show partnership working between projects will be given priority
