Outcomes and performance criteria

Outcome 1

Demonstrate knowledge of crushing plant for extractive industries.

Performance criteria

1.1The attributes of crushers are described in relation to the output products. The relationships and positioning of crushers is described for each product.

Rangeevidence is required for one type of crusher from each – primary, secondary, tertiary.

1.2Variations in the attributes and relationship of crushers are described in terms of the output products.

Outcome 2

Demonstrate knowledge of screening plant for extractive industries.

Performance criteria

2.1The attributes of screens are described in relation to the output products.

Rangeevidence is required for one type of screen from each of – primary, secondary, tertiary.

2.2The relationships and positioning of screens are described in relation to site-specific products.
