Season begins on Wednesday Sept. 13 and Saturday Sept. 16

(Monday Sept 11 for high school aged)

The two items in the Registration Package are:

·  This Cover containing Practice and Fee schedule

·  One Registration Form - Contains GWPC and Ontario Water Polo information and GWPC Privacy Info and Consent form

Registration Instructions

1.  Complete both sides of the Registration Form.

2.  Make cheques payable to Guelph Water Polo Club.

See Fall 2017 Payment schedule on the “practice and fee schedules” sheet included in your package.

3.  Return registration forms and cheques in September 2017

Please give to your coach, President or any other Board member

·  UofG is University of Guelph Gold Pool

·  VD is Victor Davis Pool

Age Groups

·  Born in 2000 & 2001 is U18

·  Born in 2002 & 2003 is U16

·  Both in 2004 & 2005 is U14

·  Both in 2006 & later is U12

·  For Kids that are learning to swim and play (not yet compete), we have a U10 group

·  Practice times may be subject to minor changes we will update players and email changes as they occur.

·  Detailed calendars will be circulated regularly.

Ø  Please note that we are back to the usual Wednesday time/pool at Victor Davis.

2017-2018 Season Fees

September 2017 / January 2018
Grade 8 and younger (U14/U12/U10) / $300 / $300
Grade 9 and older (U18/U16) / $400 / $400

Trial period of one month: $50 (for new players)

Families – younger siblings are charged half fees

Make cheques payable to the Guelph Water Polo Club

·  This year, we will be charging/collecting a nominal $10 fee on game days ($20 for a weekend tournament) to help with weekend expenses

2017-18 Events/Volunteering

We try to keep fundraising and event hosting to a reasonable and planned agenda. Please keep note of the two following events and dates as they are the only two we plan to hold this season.

·  Please remember to keep some time available November 3, 4, 5, as we will need help at the annual Andrew Watson Tournament!

o  We’ll need help with minor officiating and food room organization and donations for event officials, referees and coaches

·  The end of season dinner and fundraiser will be held in April 2018.

o  We’ll need help with obtaining donations from local businesses and with meal organizations and preparations
