How The Fall Super 600SaleWorks

All Selected Demonstrator Units and Promo machines are excluded (124,220, 223, 226V) from Fall Super 600 program.

Stage 1. Customer makes $600 deposit on desired power unit & deck and selects an accessory or implementto be reduced in price by $600 as their Fall Super 600 Retail Package.(To eliminate additional shipping charges, order power unit and bonus package item at the same time.)Additional flexibility built into this program allows the customer who responds to retail financing offers to opt for financing in lieu of the $600 bonus package upon April delivery.

Within 10 days after the sale, your dealership sends to The Grasshopper Company the following:

$600 check; the attached Fall Super 600 registration form; andFall Super 600wholegoods sales order form also attached.

Stage 2. Grasshopper sends free engraved name plates to dealership for buyer to attach to new mower. Fall Super 600 units must be scheduled for shipment with bonus package todealershipno later than February 29, 2012.

Stage 3. Customer settles account and takes delivery of Fall Super 600 unit no later thanApril 1, 2012.

5. Customer may not take machine prior to January 1, 2012, however must take delivery of unit by April 1, 2012 and pay remaining balance at that time.$600 Bonus Package may be exchanged for prevailing Grasshopper subsidized retail finance program (with approved credit).

6. Final payment on Fall Super 600 units from dealer must be received by The Grasshopper Company no later than April10, 2012. To claim applicable discountson layaway units being paid, indicate “Fall Super 600” on remittance.

7. Both the WarrantyRegistration card with “Fall Super 600” written on it, and signed and completed Customer Acceptance/Fall Super 600 Bonus Form must be received by Grasshopper no later than April 30, 2012 or rewards may be forfeited.

8.Unique to the Fall Super 600 Program is the original remaining factory warranty on Super 600 Grasshopper trade-ins stays with the dealer certified machine and is transferrable to a second owner. See the attached Fall Super 600 warranty transfer and dealer certified form.

9.Prevailing Grasshopper subsidized financing may be used in place of the $600Bonus Package at customer’s request.

10. All other programs, including 616 Special, Fleet Assist, Bid Assist, National Account, State Contract Sales, Close Outs, Demos, Summer Sizzler, Blizzard Buster, Open House, Subsidized Financing and Demo and Promo Units MAYNOT be used with the Fall Super 600 program.

11.NOTE: The customer name on the Warranty Registration card must be the same name as on the Fall Super 600 Registration Form.

RETAIL IN FALLand your commercial customers may take advantage of 2011 Section 179 and $600 bonus on an implement.

If customersigns up for a Fall Super 600 power unit & deck and then chooses not to wait for April delivery, the $600 bonus may still be earned, but must be applied to any Grasshopper implement such as snowthrower, PowerVac grass collection system, dozer blade, turbine blower, sweepster, edger, etc.

Commercial customers need to consult with their tax professional for the latest accelerated depreciation options available. Commercial customers may buy tractor, deck and implement now and take advantage of a tax break in 2011. (Refer to Section 179 Tax Advantages below)

Section 179 Tax Advantages

The Fall Super 600 layaway program is a good time to remind your customers to take advantage of year-end tax benefits. Section 179 Tax and Bonus Depreciation advantages may be realized by business customers who purchase now -- using the Fall Super 600 discount applied to any implement/PowerVac or using retail finance -- and put equipment into their fleet before December 31.

Increase in Section 179 Expense Deduction.The Act increases the Section 179 expense deduction limit to $500,000 for tax years beginning in 2010 and 2011. Additionally, the Act increases the phase-out threshold to $2 million. This means that a business may be allowed to take a deduction of up to $500,000 on each of their 2010 and 2011 tax returns for the cost of Grasshopper mowers and grounds maintenance equipment placed in service this year.

Bonus Depreciation. The special depreciation allowance provision (i.e., “bonus depreciation”) has been extended through December 31, 2011 and increased to 100% on NEW equipment purchases. Because bonus depreciation is allowed following the Section 179 expense deduction, these two provisions combined can create a significant tax deduction for businesses making capital investments.

Because tax laws are complex, we recommend business owners consult their own CPA or tax advisor right away to gain a complete understanding of how these tax provisions may benefit their business.

The tax savings realized by purchasing equipment this year can offset most or all of the monthly payments of any retail finance program used for purchasing the equipment!
