Staff: NO HALL PASSES DURING CLASSES TODAY!!!!

The Groveport Madison WRESTLING Cruisers were in action last night. The Cruisers had 2 matches last night! The first was against the Panthers of Pickerington North in which we came up short. However, we bounced back to TRIUMPH over Pickerington Central! Great Job Wrestling Cruisers! Good Luck today at Watkins Memorial and tomorrow at Westerville North.

All Students that were involved in the Rally Assembly presentation: We have a meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 17th at 1:40 p.m. in Room 104.

The Afternoon Busses will leave at exactly 1:45 p.m. They will not wait for you! Please get there on time or you will have to find another way home. There is no school on Monday, Feb. 15th and Tuesday, Feb. 16th.

1st Semester Psychology students who have not turned in your books to Mrs. DelGuzzo or the Main Office need to do immediately or you will be charged $65.00. These books are needed for the 2nd Semester classes. Thanks!

Students: MISSED YOUR CHANCE TO BUY YOUR WINTER FORMAL TICKET? It’s not too late! Get your tickets from Mrs. Furniss in the Main Office today. Nominate your favorite guy for Winter Homecoming King. Forms are available in the Main Office. The King will be crowned at Winter Formal.

Senior Students who are interested in attending ColumbusState in the Fall are encouraged to attend “ExploreColumbusState” on Monday, Feb. 15th, need to go to CSCC.edu/prospective students for information or to make a reservation.

Football Study Tables are postponed until next week.

Have Cruiser Cash? The Winner of the $25 Applebee’s Gift Card is Dakota Stephens. Dakota please stop by the Main Office and pick up your card. Next week the drawing is for a $10 Giant Eagle Gas card. Just drop 2 Cruiser Cash in the bucket in the Office. Two winners will be drawn and announced today, Feb. 19th. You can enter as many times as you’d like.

Attention any Boys interested in playing Tennis this Spring: We will have our Parent Code of Conduct meeting on Thursday, Feb. 18th at 6 p.m. This meeting is Mandatory for both players and parents.

The PLAN test (Practice ACT) will be given here at GMHS on Feb. 23rd. The cost of the test is $9.50. Please turn your money in to Mrs. Furniss in the Main Office by Feb. 12th. Please have correct change or make checks out to GMHS.

Attention girls planning to participate in Track & Field – there will be a MANDATORY meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 17th in the Cafeteria after school. The meeting will last approximately 30 minutes – so please arrange your transportation. If you have any questions please talk with Mrs. D or Ms. Horton.

NHS will be selling candy for 25 cents and carnations that you can send you your favorite person for $1.50 thru Feb. 11th. Proceeds from these sales will go to St. Jude Children’s ResearchHospital. We Need Your Help!!!! On Friday, Feb. 26th during 1st – 3rd period. We will be hosting a Rally for St. Jude Children’s ResearchHospital. It will be in the Auditorium with lots of food, music and fun. You need to make sure your permission slip is turned into the Guidance Office by Feb. 19th in order to participate. Once you have done this, you will receive a 25 names fast form. This needs to have 25 addresses of your friends and family that you will be sending letters to, asking for donations to St. Jude. This small act will make a big impact on many children’s lives. Help St. Jude continue finding cures and saving children.

The Canal Winchester ACT test has been rescheduled to Feb. 20th.

Attention all Softball Players: Do you want to improve your hitting skills? There will be “Open Hitting” at the Jr. High every Mon. 8 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Fri. 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Bring your bat and helmet and brush up on your batting techniques. Park in the back alcove and enter thru the back gym doors. Any Questions, please contact Marti Prince at 492-2520. If you want to earn cash for your Spring Break Softball Tournament and you have not received any candy to sell or need more candy contact Marti Prince as soon as possible to start earning money towards your trip.

Teachers: Please check your desk drawers for a DVD remote. Someone returned a TV without the remote. This makes scene selection on the DVD player very difficult. Thanks!
