Greytown is an approximately 70-minute drive from Wellington City, along State Highway 2. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the conference venue (the South Wairarapa Working Men's Club).
To help delegates get to Greytown, we are providing a conference shuttle service from Wellington Airport and Wellington Train Station, departing at 4.15 and 4.35 pm respectively on Monday 6th February. This costs $25 per person and will get you into Greytown (or to your accommodation in Greytown or Carterton) well in time for the conference icebreaker. There are some public train/bus connections from Wellington to Greytown, with a timetable provided here: However, be aware that the bus portion of the services to Greytown does not operate on Sundays or Public holidays and that Monday 6th February is a public holiday (Waitangi Day). You can however, get a train to Featherston or Carterton on a Sunday/Public Holiday, both of which are a 10-minute taxi ride from Greytown (e.g. It is recommend that you arrange a taxi in advance if you wish to make use of this.

Returning to Wellington from Greytown is possible via the conference shuttle which leaves Greytown at about 3.30 pm on Friday afternoon, or via the bus/train connection from Greytown (see timetable link above). Again, if you would like to make use of the shuttle to Wellington, please contact Alastair Clement on contact details above as soon as possible (there are limited spaces).

While at the conference, we are also offering a FREE shuttle service between the conference venue and Carterton each morning and evening. In order to make use of this you need to contact Alastair Clement (contact details as above), with details of your accommodation.
