GREET PROJECT PROPOSAL TEMPLATE
Project titleProject description / Details of existing system[1]
- Specify nos. & size of equipment in the existing system and the equipment schedule (if applicable)
- Specify the age of the existing equipment/system
- Specify the plant demand (e.g. cooling load, lux level requirements), and the efficiency of the existing system
- Explain how existing system works
- Provide schematic of the existing system
Details of the proposed system
- Specify nos. & size of equipment in the proposed system and the proposed equipment schedule (if applicable)
- Specify the estimated life-span of the proposed equipment/system
- Explain how the proposed system works, and why it is more efficient than the existing system
- Explain rationale for the equipment sizing selection, and provide study report if feasibility study was carried out on the proposed project
- Specify the targeted efficiency of the proposed system, including breakdown of efficiency at component level (if applicable)
- Provide schematic of the proposed system
Project energy savings / Provide estimated annual energy savings associated with the project
- Provide step-by-step calculations on the energy savings and state assumptions (if any)
- The energy price that is used to compute the energy cost savings should be average of past 12 months energy cost (excluding GST) divided by the energy consumption. [Note: this energy price will also be used to compute the post-implementation cost savings.]
Project costs / Provide detailed cost breakdown of the following including supporting quotations for all cost components:-
- Manpower costs
- Equipment and materials
- Professional services (including details of professional’s designation, experiences, manhours and unit costs) [2]
Payback period / Payback = Project costs/ annual projected energy savings
[1] For projects from new developments, existing system refers to the baseline system selected/proposed by the company. Company must provide supporting documents to justify the selection of the proposed baseline system.
