PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF LIEN SALE OF PROPERTY FOR NONPAYMENT OF TAXES,
SEWER AND/OR OTHER MUNICIPAL LIENS
Notice is hereby given that I, Raymond S. Murray, Collector of taxing district of the Borough of Dunellen, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., or at such later time to which said sale may be adjourned, in the Municipal Building located at 353 North Avenue, Dunellen, New Jersey, will expose for lien sale and sell at public auction all of several lots and parcels on which taxes and/or other municipal charges for the year 2014and prior remain unpaid, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:5-1 et. seq. Said properties shall be sold subject to redemption at the lowest rate of interest bid, but in no case will exceed 18% per annum. The payment for liens purchased shall be made via cash, certified check or wire transfer prior to the conclusion of the sale. Industrial Properties may be subject to the Spill Compensation and Control Act (N.J.S.A. 58:10-23.11 et seq.), the Water Pollution Control Act (N.J.S.A. 58:10 A-1 et seq.), and the Industrial Site Recovery Act (N.J.S. A. 13:1K-6 et seq.) In addition, the municipality is precluded from issuing a certificate to any prospective purchaser who is or may be in any way connected to the prior owner or operator of the site. IN THE EVENT THE OWNER IS ON ACTIVE DUTY WITH THE MILITARY, THE COLLECTOR SHOULD BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY. At any time before the sale payment will be accepted in the form of cash or certified check.
