Fall Basketball LeagueIt’s not too late to join the Y’s fabulous basketball league that begins Oct. 19. Open to boys and girls in grades K thru 8, the league features two weeks of practice followed by six weeks of games at various locations. Register today at the Y.
Fall Basketball Classes
Three basketball levels ranging from beginner to advanced create the Y’s basketball class that runs Oct. 26 to Dec. 15. Kids ages 5-10 will learn passing, dribbling, teamwork and more during this weekly class at Zion Lutheran Church.

Y Guy to walk w/kids in La Grange Oct. 24Dress in your favorite costume and join the Y Guy as he leads the annual Halloween Walk around downtown La Grange on Saturday, Oct. 24. Meet at the playground of Cossitt School, Madison and Harris, to join the walk, which begins at 10 a.m. This is a super event sponsored by the YMCA and the La Grange Business Association that the whole family can enjoy!
Home Alone course open to kids 5-12
Kids will learn home safety including self-care, answering the phone/door safely and what to do in an emergency in this class on Oct. 17, 4:45-5:45pm. Call the Y today to register your child.
Babysitting Certification Ages 11+

Preschool Bootcamp – Kids ages 3-6 learn fitness basics, including proper form. Mondays at 10:15am or 5pm

Stretch & Movement—Fast-paced exercise class helps coordination and balance for kids 3-6. Tuesday at 10:15FREE FOR MEMBERS
Dance Fitness—Two classes teach kids that being healthy can be fun, while increasing kids’ focus, self-confidence and more. 3-5 years meets Thursdays at 4:15pm and 6-12 meet at 4:45 FREE FOR MEMBERS
Gamercise—Kids ages 6-12 will stay in shape while learning new exercises, drills and games. Mondays at 6pmFREE FOR MEMBERS

Youth Conditioning—Children today aren’t as active as they once were, so this class gets kids, 8-13, moving to improve speed, agility, quickness, strength and flexibility. Tuesdays at 5pm
