Hello,
Great Big Theatre Company (GBTC),registered federal charity (1994) #88037 3501 RR0001is a Children’s Arts Organization offering Theatre & Arts programs to children and youth in elementary and middle schools, Kindergarten to grade eight. For those students needing financial assistance in order to participate in our programs, GBTC does respond to subsidy requests upon application, whenever possible.
We are requesting permission again this season, to distribute our 2018 Summer Camp brochure toall Elementary and Middle schools, for students - grades K to eight.
Since 1993 GBTC has provided arts camps, classes & workshops throughout the GTA and southwestern Ontario, to thousands of school aged children, who have been greatly enriched by these experiences.
Our staff members as well as volunteers all reside in the areas local to where our programs are held.
Our camps are non-denominational and although many of our camp-sites are held at churches, these serve merely as convenient and accessible locations.
We would appreciate if you can assist us with distribution via your courier board mail service if available; if your courier service is not available, then we would still appreciate if you can send us a letter indicating that we have permission from the board to approach individual schools to ask permission to leave flyers either to be distributed to the students or to be placed on their community counters
&/or for our camp information to be inserted into the schools' newsletter whenever possible.
Please forward the attached information to your schools’ electronic billboards where appropriate.
We appreciate your support in this manner.
Our brochure is individually labeled for each school, collated in groups of 25 per class and ready for distribution to the students after March Break.
With your letter of consentwe will deliver the brochures in accordance to your School Board policy.
Our programs have been designed to be consistent with the teaching standards and criteria indicated by the current Ontario School Board Curriculum.
