13:50 Old Business: Commander Tom Pressley opened the subject and Past Commander David Berndt led discussion on the Canton Vets Cemetery.

We went into a “committee as a whole” Planning is underway for the event to be on Saturday instead of Monday.

On the bench, is it to be stone? Discussed alternative materials and several members are to check out other materials and costs. Front of Cemetery signage all in order. Memorial fund could donate money for improvement or repairs. Ed Poole suggested Tom Pressley to email or go up there to Canton.

14:05 New Business: New Member Bill Sidner shared his story, he moved up from enlisted through Chief and Warrant to full officer level started out as qualified as an enlisted ended up running recovery and repair division. Need more data here.

New locations for meetings?

Gwinnett Council Seminar, April 21, 10AM to 1PM. Do we want to support a split with the Museum? Will cost us $50, could be $33. March Breakfast on the 19th Vets meeting 9AM to 11 – Noon, $12 per person.

Vice Cmdr Allen Legel mentioned Christi O’Hara spoke at a NL Member Social at Scalinies and presented the situation with the Georgia Vets, troops and their families and what can be done to help them all. She manages a Wounded Warrior Battalion at Ft Gordon. See attached

Mike Kotler announced a Job Fair 500 attendees 45 employers Should get good job from fair. Aleric Cares a company that hires only disabled vets who work on customer service working from home April 19th Tuesday Satellite Blvd, Norcross. Loganville job fair in March.
