Mentee Orientations

SO…YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN DISABILITY MENTORING DAY

On WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2012!

The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD), invites you to join us for a one-hour orientation to prepare you for your Mentoring Day experience. We are offering ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS ONLY (SPACE IS LIMITED). Orientation will provide you with tips on how to make the most of your day. Attendance is required for FIRST-TIME MENTEES.

There are 10 choices for this orientation and you must attend one of the following sessions. Please choose from one of the following sessions:

Session I:

Tuesday, October 9th

@ 9:30 am – 11:30 am (NOTE: Only for Mentees Matched with Bank of America)

Session II:

Wednesday, October 10th

@ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

@ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

@ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Session III:

Thursday, October 11th

@ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

@ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

@ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Session VI:

Friday, October 12th

@ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

@ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

@ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Reservations are required by sending an email (preferred), with DMD 2012 Mentee Orientation in the subject line, to or by calling (212) 341-2033. Again, space is limited and we cannot guarantee that there will be room, so we encourage you to respond with your preferred date and time as soon as you can.

We are located on the 2nd floor at 100 Gold Street, New York, NY 10038. You can reach us by subway on the 2, 3 to Fulton Street; A, C, to Fulton Street/Broadway Nassau; 4, 5, 6 to Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall; J, Z to Chambers Street; as well as by Access-A-Ride (between Beekman and Frankfort Streets); or the M15 Bus, which stops at City Hall/Park Row.
