Introduction

Here is another wire twisting tutorial where you'll learn how to use the technique to create a wire bracelet. Manipulate the twisted wires and create little twigs and use purple beads that look like clusters of grapes. Create variations, use other colors of beads, maybe red or orange and create strawberries and orange fruit clusters!

Following the materials listed, you can create a bracelet 17cm in length, including jump rings and clasp. The tutorial is catered for beginners or anyone who loves to learn this basic weave. It has in-depth instructions and ultra-clear, close-up photos at each step. Additionally, you can ask me question you have on the tutorial. No more getting stuck and frustrated on a confusing or just plain inaccurate pattern.

Materials and tools needed:

Materials Needed
84pcs Purple round pearl beads
2 jump rings
1 Clasp
0.3mm (28ga) x 160cm (63 inches) copper wire

Tools Needed
Wire cutter
Ruler or tape measure
Chain or Flat nose pliers

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1:

Cut 160cm (63 inches) of 0.3mm (28ga) copper wire. Fold the wire into 2 and pass one end of the wire into a jump ring. Position the jump ring into the folded part of the wire.

Wrap 1 end of the wire once onto the jump ring.

Step 2:

Create a stem. Using your thumb and forefinger start twisting the wire.

Twist the wire about 15 times.

Step 3:

After twisting separate the extend wires. Take 1 end of the wire and slide in the following: pearl, seed bead, pearl, seed bead, pearl, seed bead

Bring the extended wire up and form a circle.

Then twist the wire at least 10 times to form a branch or twig.

After forming the branch/twig bring the extended wire downward like so. Now, you have a cluster of grapes.

Note: When you are working on the branch and the grapes, you might come to a situation where the stem and branch are sticking together as picture from step above. Just separate them after you are done with the branch withcluster of grapes.

Step 4:

Repeat Step 3 and do the same for the other end of the wire.

Now you have 2 clusters of grapes.

Step 5:

Continue and form another stem. Bring the extended wires together and twist about 10 times.

Then repeat Steps 3 and 4 and start creating clusters of grapes.

For a 17cm length, including jump rings and clasp we have created 13 clusters of grapes.

Step 6:

To finish the bracelet twist the wires at least 10 times then insert both wires into a jump ring.

Wrap the twisted wire 2 times onto the jump ring.

Secure the wires by cutting of the excess and pressing the ends with your flat nose pliers and ensure there are no sharp edges.

Open the jump ring and slide in your clasp.

Adjust the wire to form your desired look for the bracelet. You have created the Grapes Twisted Bracelet.
