BACKGROUND

The Department has agreed to provide Grant Funding to NQ Dry Tropics for payment to the Proponent to undertake various activities to improve nitrogen use management practices to meet the Project Objectives.

The Proponent is strongly encouraged to seek independent professional agronomic advice to best suit the unique circumstances and needs of its farming system.

The parties wish to record the terms and conditions of their Agreement.

Project Activity Description

Proponent will perform the Project Activity to achieve the Total Proposed Nitrogen Application of «Total_Proposed_Nitrogen_Application» kg as outlined in Schedule 4.
Proponent will receive payments of Grant Funding as specified in Schedule 2 (Payment Schedule) to improve their nitrogen management practice as set out in Schedules 3 and 4.

·  Receipts of purchase as evidence of the amount of fallow crop seed purchased in the calendar year of 2017 (if applicable);
·  Completed practice change survey form as provided by (Service Provider) for calendar year 2017; and
·  A valid tax invoice.
Submission of:
·  Completed nutrient management plan using the Six Easy Steps program;
·  A warranty declaring that all Minimum Standards of Management Practice are in place on the Farm (or Farms) and will be in place for the duration of the Agreement (Minimum Standards are defined in Part B); and
·  A certificate or acknowledgment from Queensland Canegrowers Organisation Ltd that the three Smartcane BMP modules have been completed. / 12months after previous payment milestone

·  Receipts of purchase as evidence of the amount of fallow crop seed purchased in the calendar year of 2020 (if applicable);
·  Completed practice change survey form as provided by (Service Provider) for calendar year 2020; and
·  A valid tax invoice.
Submission of:
·  Updated nutrient management plan using the Six Easy Steps program outlining the nutrient management plan for 3 years after the completion of the project (2021 – 2024); and
·  A certificate or acknowledgment from Queensland Canegrowers Organisation Ltd that accreditation has been achieved under Smartcane BMP. / 12months after previous payment milestone
