The application fee gives you one 12X12 spot and 110 Voltz/15 amps of electricity (1st come 1st serve) Quiet Generators are Acceptable

Tree Theme and Details

When planning your theme please keep in mind that your tree will be able to be viewed from all sides. We encourage you to be creative as possible with your theme, decorations, tree, and color scheme.

The Grand Oaks reserves the right to disqualify or remove any tree from the festival as well as the auction if the theme and/or decorations are deemed inappropriate or offensive.

Rules, Regulations, and Restrictions

Participant must decorate tree fully. Client is welcome to decorate tree off site, and bring tree decorated; or decorate the tree on site during allotted time frame.
No open flames are permitted.
Participant may not exceed their given 12X12 space.
Participant may not penetrate the ground in any way. (i.e. no stakes, post, digging holes, etc.)
Participant must provide step stool or ladder if needed.
If lighting is being used (i.e. Christmas lights) they must be LED.
If using gift certificates/cards as part of tree décor, only copies or representations should be placed on tree. Actually gift certificates/cards should be held in safe keeping and presented to bidder with tree.
Any valuable and/or fragile ornaments should be securely wired to tree. Grand Oaks take no responsibility for damage or theft.
Tree must be set-up and fully decorated by noon on November 26, 2016.
Participant must remove all trash. (i.e. boxes, package material, loose tree pieces)
Tree must be ready to go by the start of the event each day.
Participant must provide a tree attendant each day of the event during event hours. If this is not possible please make sure the tree is at least attended to for presentation before any event viewings. It is mandatory that a representative be present at the Closing/Auction Event on Dec. 3 @ 7 pm.
Grand Oaks will not be responsible for any set-up, up keep, or plugging in of Tree and/or decorations. (wind stabilization suggested)
Trees and Decorations must be able to withstand outdoor conditions for up to one week.
Participant is responsible for removal of tree to winning bidder or delivery to bidder.
All trees must be removed from the Grand Oaks Property by Saturday Dec. 3, 2016 after the Auction.

Liability: The Participant shall maintain The Grand Oaks property in its present condition, reasonable wear and tear expected. Customer assumes full responsibility for any injury, theft, loss or damages to its volunteers, to volunteer’s property, to The Grand Oaks or The Grand Oaks property, or to any third person. The Customer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Grand Oaks and its respective officers, employees, agents, contractors, guests and third parties, from all liability, loss, damages or expense, including legal fees, resulting from injury (including sickness, disease or loss of life) to any person, or damage to any property, which either directly or indirectly results from the creation, coordination and management of any the event held at the Grand Oaks. This indemnity shall survive the termination or expiration of this Agreement.
