Steps in applying for admission.
1. Application for Admission (included)

2. Applicants Admissions Statement
In a typed essay of two or three pages, double-spaced, please describe your academic goals, some of the key experiences leading to your desire for academic advancement, and reasons for pursuing this program at Trinity Western University.
3. Financial Plan
The MA in Leadership (Business Stream) in Mandarin is a graduate degree from TWU as a Canadian university. Tuition costs are $24,000 USD for 2013 entry, and books and resources are expected to cost approximately $50-100USD per course.
There are two travel study courses and three experiential learning sessions. Travel study courses are LRDS 503 with three weeks online and one week residence in Hong Kong; and LRDS 502 that will take place in Canada at TWU’s campus for two weeks. Three experiential learning sessions are scheduled to take place in China for courses LDRS 500, LDRS 501 and LDRS 504. Students are responsible for travel, accommodation, and living expenses during travel study and experiential learning sessions.. Please provide an overview of your financial plan and ability to cover the projected costs of program study.

4. Reference Letters (included)
Enclosed please find outlines for two confidential reference letters that should be given preferably to two professional referees. However, you may submit one professionalreference and one from a friend who is able to comment on your ability to complete a Canadian graduate degree. These recommendations should come from persons who are not relatives and should be submitted directly to the MA in Leadership Program office at TWU. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that reference letters are forwarded to TWU before application due date.
5. Application Fee
An application fee of $40.00 USD must be included with your application for admission to Trinity Western University. This fee is non-refundable.
6. Post Secondary Transcripts
Please request that all post secondary institutions attended send an official transcript to the Operations Coordinator for the MA in Leadership Program at TWU.
7. English Proficiency Assessment
All applicants whose native language is non-English will be required to complete a language proficiency assessment that will be administered in China. The purpose of this assessment is to determine that admitted students will be able to complete the course work appropriately in English to graduate successfully with a Canadian graduate degree. The assessment results will form part of the application file for each learner in the MA in Leadership Program. Please contact MA in Leadership Program office for further information at
All applicants for the MA in Leadership degree will be required to successfully complete a Pre-Requisite course two weeks prior to undertaking courses for academic credit in the MA in Leadership degree. The Pre- Requisite course will be a further step in ensuring each learner has the capability to complete the MA degree course work successfully.
