Late Work:In life, being on time and completing tasks on time is important; therefore, any assignment that is turned in late will automatically have 30% taken off the score. You will have no more than 1 week past the due date to turn in any late assignment. After 1 week the assignment will not be accepted. For excused absences, you have the number of days you were absent to turn in the work or it will be considered late, 30% will be taken off the score.

Participation: A percentage of your grade will be earned through attendance, participation, and behavior. Points will be earned for attending class, being on time, making positive contributions, and showing respect for those in the classroom and the content of the class. Points will be taken off for poor attitudes, lack of participation, disrupting learning, and not being prepared for class. Absences will also cause you to lose participation points.

Turning In Assignments:Each class period has a separate turn-in folder. Assignments must be turned in to the correct folder to receive credit. Graded assignments will be kept in the student’s individual folder.
